I was so happy to hear that 🥹🎶 After listening to so many amazing performances during my trip, I felt a new sense of rhythm and freedom inside my body ✨ …But just when I thought I could relax, next week’s assignment is Wagner – Die Walküre! ⚡️😱 #カバレリアルスチカーナ #間奏曲 #マスカーニベルギー、ポーランド、オランダと1週間に3つの国を旅するハードスケジュールだったので✈️ （しかも飛行機が遅れてウィーン空港に着いたのが夜11時 !!）翌日の大学オーケストラの授業🪉課題曲を全く譜読みしてなくて当日必死で練習していた💦 （だって課題曲が発表されるのが1週間前なんだもん...）ウィーンオペラ座のハープ奏者ガブリエル先生が「隣の部屋であなたが練習してるの聞こえてたけど、たったの2時間で新しい曲を仕上げられるなんてすごい才能だよ〜！音もクリアできれいだし歌手の呼吸にもリアクションを合わせられているよ！」と、とっても褒めてくださった🙌 旅先で一流の演奏家の素晴らしい音楽をたくさん聞いたので、体の中に、いつもとは違うリズム感が芽生えていて自分でも楽しかった🎵 と、いうわけで、、、安心したもつかの間来週の課題はワーグナーのオペラワルキューレ！！超絶技巧😱💦💦

#brahmus #musikverein @anneleenlenaerts I visited the famous Brahms Hall inside the Musikverein in Vienna — the legendary concert hall known worldwide for the New Year’s Concert. ✨ The hall itself felt like a masterpiece of art, with golden chandeliers that seemed to sing above us. 💫 And my dear professor, Anneleen Lenaerts, shone brilliantly in a breathtaking collaboration of harp and voice in Berg’s contemporary music. 🎶 Thank you for such an inspiring evening. 👏🪉 ニューイヤーで全世界に中継される有名なウィーンのムジークフェラインの中にあるブラームスホールに初めて行ってきました✨ ホールそのものが美術品のようで、黄金のシャンデリアが歌っているようでした💫 そしてAnneleen先生は、ベルクの現代音楽での歌とハープのコラボレーションで大活躍🪉 素晴らしいひとときを、ありがとうございました。👏

🎶🇳🇱 #netherland I took a 6-hour round trip by train from Amsterdam to the lovely town of Valkenswaard, where De Hofnar Theater is located. 🚃 I was kindly invited by Dutch harpist Joost to his solo recital. 🙏 @dutchharpist ✨ Pianist Bram de Vree, host of the classical concert series “Klassiekserie” at De Hofnar Theater (in the 2nd photo) giving introductions before each piece, and Joost’s own warm talks that made the audience feel connected. 🎵 Most of all, I was deeply moved by his lively and joyful playing, filled with genuine joy in music-making. 🎹 “The Real Winner is in Our Hearts” 🕊️ The 17-year-old Chinese pianist Tianyao Lyu, studying in Poland, received 8,224 votes in the Audience Award at the 19th Chopin Competition. @tianyao_lyu On the official YouTube video of her final performance, more than 1,000 comments appeared from all over the world: “true Chopin” “you are my winner” “the real winner” “you win our hearts.” Some even wrote, “the real winner — it’s a shame that political things,” expressing the audience’s honest emotions. Personally, I felt that if Chopin himself were alive, he might have chosen her interpretation as the closest to the spirit of his music. Today, we lost one of the greatest harp pioneers in the world — Susan McDonald, founder of the USA International Harp Competition and professor at Juilliard and Indiana University. This photo was taken in 1995, the year I became the first Japanese prizewinner at the USA International Harp Competition as a university student. Next to me is the daughter of Spanish composer Rodrigo (whose Concierto de Aranjuez is world-renowned), and beside her is Susan McDonald herself — and finally, my mother, who was also a harpist. I was only 18 years old when I first competed in the USA International Competition. Though I had already won national competitions in Japan, I was devastated when I didn’t pass the first round in America. It was Susan who taught me that playing perfectly isn’t enough — that music is about expressing who you are and delivering a heartfelt message with passion. Her guidance went beyond music. She taught me how to communicate as a person, to connect with the world, and to have the courage to share my true voice. The foundation of the Miyabi Method — techniques like the UP form, Cat form, Octopus form, and Spiral Release — were all gifts from her. Though her body has returned to the earth, her spirit will continue to soar as a Phoenix through the hearts and hands of her students. Rest in peace, dearest Susan. 世界のハープ界をリードしてきた偉大なるスーザン・マクドナルド先生が、本日お亡くなりになりました。この写真は1995年、私が大学生だった時、 USA国際ハープコンクールで日本人初めての入賞を果たした記念日です。私の隣にいるのは、ギターの有名なアランフェス協奏曲を作曲したロドリーゴの娘さん（当日課題曲がロドリーゴのハープ協奏曲）その隣がUSA国際ハープコンクール設立者でジュリアード音楽院、インディアナ音楽院の教授スーザン・マクドナルド先生。その隣がハープ奏者だった私の母です。一番最初にUSA国際コンクールに出場した時、私はまだ18歳でした。高校生の時に日本のコンクールで優勝していたけれど、アメリカでは一次予選で落ちてショックを受けました。楽譜通りミスなく弾くだけではダメで、自分をもっと表現すること、情熱を持ってお客様へメッセージを伝える方法をマクドナルド先生が教えてくださいました。そのことは音楽だけではなく、自分が人間関係においてコミュニケーションする上でも役立ち、世の中に発信していく勇気の翼を育ててくださった大きな出会いでした。ミヤビメソードの基礎技術、UP型、ネコ型、タコ型、しなり上げ型、を教えてくださったのもマクドナルド先生です。肉体は滅びてもハープへ愛を捧げた魂は、世界中の生徒たちへ受け継がれ、後世を照らすフェニックス不死鳥となります。マクドナルド先生、心よりご冥福を祈り申し上げます。

#家 #home 私のウィーン移住にともないご案内していた自宅の売却ですが、おかげさまで数十名の方々に内覧いただき、複数の方々よりお申込みいただきました。皆様にフランス・アンティークのデザインがまるで迎賓館や美術館のようですね、と大絶賛をいただき、心より感謝申し上げます。おかげさまで、クラシック音楽とバッハ音楽を愛する素敵な方とのご縁があり、このお城をお譲りすることとなりました。これからもこの美しい空間に、幸せな音が響きますようにお祈り申し上げます✨🪽 As I prepare for my new chapter in Vienna, I’m deeply grateful to share that our beloved home has found a new owner. Over the past weeks, many wonderful people came to view the house, and I was honored to receive multiple offers. The French antique design, often described as “a private salon” or “a gallery-like residence,” received heartfelt praise from so many guests. And now, this little château will be passed on to someone who truly loves classical music and the works of J.S. Bach. It brings me peace to know that this beautiful space will continue to echo with happiness and harmony. Thank you all for your warm wishes and support.
