Human beings have destroyed and changed the natural environment, environment, and space in order to live comfortably. Natural creatures are forced to evolve and mutate along changing ecosystems. And then there is a paradox that it affects humans again and is trapped in the environment we have changed. Here, Mr. Andre was excited to serve lobster on the ARAS scoop Sustainable Collection, a tableware made of environmentally friendly resin with cedar skin designed and manufactured by secca with Ishikawa Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. The event started at RAW Taipei @raw_taipei, a Michelin 2-star restaurant in Taipei City. <Collaboration theme: Re:define future The 2022 collaboration <Re:define future> means "to return to a new starting point." Re" means starting over from the beginning, and "define" means what we are thinking about. Andre's collaboration with secca began with PERSPECTIVES OF KANAZAWA - Kanazawa - A New Perspective, which was held at A_RESTAURANT (Kanazawa, Ishikawa) in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, prior to the February 2020 coronavirus outbreak. In this collaboration, Andre and secca expressed their respective perspectives of "Kanazawa" through food, tableware, and video. Compared to two years ago, the world has faced many crises in the meantime and does not seem to have a "bright" future," said André. "The future we thought we had in the past was sophisticated, beautiful, and more high-end," he said. But in the last two years we have experienced epidemics and wars. If we humans can survive after such catastrophes, what will our future look like, will our culinary future be brighter?" Andre has spent about six months creating a course that encourages each of us to think and return to a new starting point = Re:define, focusing on global issues such as the ocean crisis, climate change, mutation, and the M-shaped society. In addition, a hands-on food exhibition, "Define the Future," will be held in the entrance lobby of the restaurant. The exhibition will feature the collaboration in Kanazawa in 2020, art pieces selected by Andre, and the tableware brand "ARAS @aras.japan" designed by secca using environmentally friendly new materials, as well as the exhibition and sales of the products proposed by Andre and secca.
