Recently, I’ve been making a conscious effort to keep my energy levels consistently high. I gently distance myself from people who don’t feel right for me at the moment. I completely avoid those who tend to turn conversations into complaints about others. Even just listening to negativity allows it to enter your body. That kind of energy does absolutely nothing to benefit your life. Being surrounded only by happy, high-energy people brings you closer to any dream or goal. That’s why, recently, I’ve been choosing only those kinds of people to be around. And if someone says something to me, I just respond with, “Oh, I see! That sounds tough. Alright then, take care!” and move on. After returning from Hawaii, I lost contact with the film crew who worked on the project. I finally heard from them on February 20th, but unfortunately, they informed me that they won’t be able to complete the film. Right now, I’m trying to get the footage from them and see if I can still make something out of it. Another option I’m considering is going back to Hawaii and reshooting the film, though this time without Meria. During the shoot, we pushed ourselves to the absolute limit. Melia and I dedicated two intense weeks to this project, making it even more heartbreaking that it may not come together as planned. But no matter how tough this situation is, I’m not giving up. This film will be completed. Every challenge is an opportunity. I believe this experience will lead to growth—not just for me, but for Melia as well. I’ll keep you updated as things unfold. I wonder if a change in environment will switch things back on right? I've been thinking these days like I find myself wanting to live somewhere I can shoot underwater every morning as part of my routine. This needs a lotta practice and physical training and mentally too cause it's sometimes dangerous and hard to be in the right spot while swimming as well as the respect to the surfers out there. I believe it's not like buying a camera and straight being a line up which is pretty disrespectful. It takes time. There are still so many things I want to feel and experience in the real world. I feel like I was truly present in those precious moments. I should make time for this more often. Instead of being on social media, I journaled a lot on paper, celebrated my dog’s birthday, spent time with my parents, and thought about the people I cherish. I also discovered new sides of myself, strengthened my mindset, and committed to daily workouts to manage my mental well-being.
