Instead, whenever my entire being feels “this is it,” I reach out without hesitation. I don’t calculate whether it’s effective or not. Sometimes, I’ll pick it up and examine it carefully; other times, I let it go quickly, or even keep it on hold for a while. The life I’ve woven so far shapes who I am today. From my back, fine threads stretch out in all directions like a spider’s web, and I examine whatever touches each of those threads, one by one. Though it may seem chaotic now, I believe that in the end, all these threads will connect me to something meaningful.
