顔馴染みの方も増え、皆様とお話しするのも楽しい3日間となりました。 今回は「ステッカーくじ」や紙もの大賞のエントリー等で初めて知ってくださった方も多く、とても嬉しかったです。 品切れにならないようできるだけたくさんの商品をお持ちしたので、最終日まで賑やかなブースにできたこともよかったことのひとつです。 ラブレターポストへのお手紙もありがとうございます！ たくさんのお手紙をいただき、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。 皆様からいただいた数々の言葉を励みに、これからも頑張っていきたいと思います！ ◎今後の予定 ・通販サイト再開に向けていろいろと準備を進めています。 (9/20前後には再開できるよう準備中です。) こちらは『民芸店の看板持ちの熊ちゃん』です。 木彫りの熊などの民芸品を扱う昔ながらのお土産屋さんで働く熊ちゃんが、看板を持って客寄せに勤しむ様子を表現しました！ 熊ちゃんの躍動感溢れるポーズがなんともかわいらしいですね。 木彫りの熊の顔を模した看板部分、こちらはなんと本物の「木彫り」作品、、、！ガラス目を入れた本格的な作りで、裏にはMokujiのサインも入っています。 PAPER SET』、 好評につき品薄になっていたので本日追加をたくさんご用意いたしました！ こちらは使い勝手の良いA5サイズの包装紙が10柄×5枚ずつの合計50枚入ったお得なセットです。 かわいい紙ケース(マチあり)に入っているので収納時も困りません。 ケースは手触りの良いざらっとした厚紙に活版印刷を施し、特別感を出しました。 中に入っている10柄は、Mokujiを代表する図柄ばかり。 (連日準備に追われていますが、まだ到着していない新商品もありどきどきしています…！) 本日は熊の張子人形『はりこのは』のご紹介です。 海や夏をテーマに、今回もかわいい子たちが揃いました。 船に乗っていたり、ビーチボールや浮き輪に抱きついたり。 お魚がたくさん入った網を背負った漁師の子もいたり。 どの熊ちゃんも素朴でほのぼのとした様子が気に入っています。 熊の親子の佇まいと雨のテクスチャにこだわった、お気に入りの一枚です。 紙とインク色を変えて2パターン制作しました。(2枚目はsoldです) 紙への多色刷りは慣れないことも多く苦戦しましたが、 興味を持ってくださった方も多く、チャレンジしてみてよかったです。 今後も手を動かし、こだわりを突き詰めながら、作品の幅を広げていけたらなあと思います。 -------- 『りんごが食べたい』。 3版を使い、机の上のりんごを気にしている熊ちゃんを刷りました。 ベタの部分、テーブルクロスのかすれたタッチ、熊ちゃんのもこもことした輪郭など、 様々な表現を再現するのに苦心しましたが、毎日試行錯誤を繰り返しながら刷ることにより理想の表現に近付けたと思います。 シルクスクリーンならではの発色の良さを生かしつつ、 微妙にくすんだ色味も取り入れたかったので、インクはすべて2〜4色程度を掛け合わせて作りました。 お皿や花瓶の色味が上手く出てとても気に入っています。 パキッとした部分と、水性インキならではの微妙なムラも生まれ、味わい深い作品になりました。 紙は手触りのあるアラベールを使用。 手書きのサインとエディション入りです。 久々に3版を刷ったので直前までバタバタでしたが、チャレンジしてみて良かったです。 『KUMA COLLECTION 2024』もいよいよ最終週。 (展示は7/7(日)までです。) 連日たくさんのお客様に足を運んでいただき、感謝の気持でいっぱいです。 先週は一点物もたくさんの方の手に取っていただけたようでとても嬉しかったです！ こちらは個展のために新たに制作したシルクスクリーン版画、 『クマちゃんの好きなもの』。 いつものタッチから少し離れて、遊び心のある線画のイラストを描きました。 普段はミリペンや鉛筆を使ってイラストを描くことが多いのですが、 こちらのイラストには久々に筆を使用。 風船や自転車、積み木やラッパなど、ささやかなアイテムが好きなクマちゃんの素朴さが描けたような気がするので、とても気に入っています。シルクスクリーンはオレンジとブラウンの2版で構成しています。 手紙舎2ndSTORYにて開催中の個展にて、大好評の特製トートバッグ。 先週末に残り1点になってしまったので、 数点ですが急遽追加のご用意をいたしました！(画像2枚目をご参照ください) 6/28(金)OPEN時には店頭に並ぶ予定ですので、気になっていた方はぜひ。 ※その他定番商品もいくつか追加納品しました。最後まで賑やかな売り場になりますよう…！ こちらのトートバッグは、 絵柄やインク色、バッグの地の色の組み合わせを考えながら一点一点シルクスクリーンで手刷りしています。 納品直前に描き下ろしたイラストで版を作ったり(！)など即興的な部分もあり、 業者さんに頼んで制作するバッグではできない様々なこだわりが詰まっています。 バッグはいつもお世話になっている布小物作家さんと一緒に生地から検討し制作しました。 A4が入るサイズに、マチ付き、内側には便利なポケット付きです。 『KUMA COLLECTION 2024』もいよいよ折り返し。 先日の土日はたくさんのご来店をありがとうございました！ 皆様が楽しみながらお品物を選んでいる様子にたくさんの元気をいただきました。 (皆様の鋭い観察眼や心温まるご感想に、感動しっぱなしの2日間でした) 国立のお店時代からのお付き合いの方々にも久々にお会いできて本当に嬉しかったです。 数の少なくなった一点ものも多いですが、まだまだお選びいただけるものがあるかと思います。 また本日よりどうぞよろしくお願いいたします！ (のちほど追加情報もお伝えできると思います) 画像は、今回の個展のために作っていただいたスペシャルメニュー、 『はちみつとレモンのバスクチーズケーキ』。 クマにちなんで蜂蜜を使用した、とろけるような食感と爽やかなはちみつレモン風味が楽しいチーズケーキです。 わたしたちもお伺いした際にいただきましたが、とっても美味しかったです！ なめらかな口溶け&食べ応えのある濃厚なチーズケーキに、はちみつの華やかな風味とレモンのさっぱり感がとても合っていて、この季節にぴったりの一品でした。 ランチにパスタもいただきましたが(エビとズッキーニのトマトパスタ&レモンクリームパスタ)、こちらもとっても美味しかったです。サラダもパンも付いているのが嬉しい！
