The hooded shade is inspired by snow-shielding exterior lights found across Scandinavia which we like very much. The Banshu-ori fabric shade is a reddish colour and gives a soft, pleasing diffused light. The combination of soft curves, which can only be created with molded plywood, creates an organic and unique form. The enamel is baked with a glassy glaze and is characterized by its beautiful color and gloss. In contrast to the enamel, the brass parts have a less shiny finish. The Bullet/brass series is made of cast brass and is not painted. As a result, they oxidise and turn black over time. We recommend that you enjoy the unique ageing effects of brass, but if you want to keep the colour and shine of the brass, we advise you to polish the brass every few months with a polishing agent. Polishing takes time and patience, so you can leave it to us. It will become more tasteful with time and with more care and attention, your love for it will grow stronger.
