Tonight, I am interviewing one of the greatest All-Star players in history *live* from courtside before the All-Star Game! _ From the Rising Stars, I had a blast interviewing Rui Hachimura who made history by becoming the first Japanese player ever to be a part of the All-Star games! It was awesome getting to know and sharing more of his personal side + fun BTS stories with his fellow teammates and first memorable All-Star _ Yesterday morning, I also had an opportunity to do a sit-down interview with Devin Booker who was selected as an All-Star this year!! He is actually one player that I've had the honor to speak with at all three All-Star Weekends I've covered. _ I asked him to share the details on when and how he found out that he was named an All-Star, his journey on how he got to where he is today, his connection and touching stories with his idol Kobe Bryant, and much more! Although he was just one point shy from being the crowned the winner of the 3-Point Contest again this year, he still holds the highest record even after the addition of two 3-balls this year. This time, I traveled to Cleveland to film with the one and only @pumpkinnation!! I learned that every single player and person involved with the team touches the star every day before heading out to practice which I thought was very inspiring. The facility was so massive that we unfortunately could not include everything we filmed, but it was super cool to report on my first cryotherapy experience using the same exact machine the players use as well! I love learning about the BTS of recovery/body conditioning which is crucial for maintaining the physique of the best athletes in the world. It was such a pleasure seeing and working with the Dallas Cowboys team again! Swipe Both games were extremely close which made all the fans get up on their feet and break out chants. The Japan Games concluded with a win from each team, giving the Japanese fans the best gift they were waiting for all these years. On the other hand, when I observed the players' bench during the game (as my media seat was right next to them), I saw many of them look up and across the arena and smile seeing how lively and ecstatic the crowd was. Thank you NBA, the players, and everyone who worked endless hours to make many peoples' dream become a reality. * During the interviews, the players shared "Japan is one of the most beautiful countries in the world with such kindhearted people. I'll definitely be back in Tokyo next year for the Olympics." When I had the greatest honor of interviewing the Commissioner, he mentioned, "Sixteen years has flown by since the last Japan Games, and we should not let that happen again." Therefore, I truly hope and look forward to another Japan Games in the very near future.
