In the center of the screen is a man-made waterhole, where animals often gather. Namib" means "nothing" in the language of the San people, the main ethnic group in the region, but I envied the vastness of the sky and the almost engulfing silence that existed there, and was fascinated by the way the desert changed with the seasons and time. The life of the nomadic people in the desert is very simple. They own only what they need, follow the cycles of nature, and work with the sun while riding its rhythms. The desert landscape I am depicting here is similar to the feeling of seeing this scene. While an aggregate of inorganic matter made of grains of sand is fluidly changing under the influence of outside energy such as wind and sun, the man-made objects that do not move even slightly create a gap in the passage of time.
