先日、ドッグランにお越しいただいた方から 「No!」と「off」「leave it」などの使い分けに付いてご質問を頂きました👂 なぜ分けるのか…？ シンプルに答えると 『ルールを分かりやすくするため』 ルールが分からない（分かっていない）段階で「No」と言われても何の事か分かりません💦 ちゃんと明確にしていて初めて叱るという行為が成り立ちます。 カウンターや、テーブルに手をかけたらダメだよ〜 人や他の犬のものや、落ちてるものを食べたらダメだよ〜 勝手にソファーや椅子に乗ったらダメだよ〜 をしっかり教えられているから初めて「No」が成立します ポジティブトレーニングは素敵な考えですが、ダメなことをした時は“叱る“事は必要です😤 ただ、“叱る“を成立させるためには それまでに人間側が犬に対してしっかり歩み寄り理解を深め信頼関係を作る事が重要で、ここがとても難しかったりします😓 別に、犬に限った事ではなく人も同じだと思います☺️ 『叱る叱らない』 『褒める褒めない』 『おやつの有無』 これは議論する事じゃなく、相手にちゃんと伝わっているかが大切なだけ😊 コマンドを教える際も同様で、犬に対して 分かりやすく“褒める“ 分かりやすく“指摘“ 分かりやすく“注意“ など順序立てて犬達の行動から心理状態を読み取りながら、 出来る事を増やす 出来る事のレベルを上げる のが大切👍 僕個人的な考えですが、犬と暮らす上で大切なのは 『うちの飼い主最高だぜ！！』 って犬達が感じてくれる事に尽きると思うんです😌 しつけにおいて、 ポジティブトレーニングなのか、時には叱るのか（虐待を肯定する叱るではない）。 犬を自由にするのか、ルールを作るのか。 などなど… 別に、子育てのように各家庭で育て方や、教育論が違うように、犬の育て方も色々あると思うので、教育の仕方や生き方をとやかく言うつもりはありません🙂 ただし、しつけが重要なのは明確です。 なぜ？？ それはどんな綺麗事を並べようが犬は犬だからです。 家族ではあるけれど、犬と人は違います。 人間社会で犬が市民権を得るためには、 犬を飼ってる人or飼ってない人 犬が好きな人or嫌いな人 はたまた 犬が好きな犬or嫌いな犬 こういった他者に対する配慮として必要なのです。 例えば、 HOGOKEN TOKYOのハスキーのスカイ君と、土佐犬のうるちゃんは、信号待ちはsitが必須ですし、リードは極力短く持ちます。 彼らの見た目で、外で自由にさせる事は他者への配慮が著しく欠けている事になります。 いい子だろうが、知らない人からしたら知った事じゃありませんから💦 チワワのフィフィちゃんとくぬぎ君は、散歩中時々犬に向かって吠えます。これは厳しくNOといい制止します。 小型犬だろうと、シニアだろうと、保護犬だろうと関係ありません。 なぜか？吠えられた犬やその飼い主からしてみたら迷惑でしかないからです。 もっと言えば、近くにいる関係のない人からするともっと迷惑です💦 「おい！お前！やんのか！？」「うちの飼い主に近づくな！」なのか分かりませんが、自分の犬が急に怒鳴り散らしてるわけです…😅 ご近所の方で、HOGOKEN TOKYOの子達に吠えられた事がある方申し訳ございません。これは僕の指導力不足でご迷惑をおかけしております💦 バックボーンが様々な子がいる為、温かい目で見ていただけると幸いです🙇 家族として大切にしたいのであれば、家族の責任で教育することが必要だし、そう思うことが必然なはず。 やり方がわからなければ、ドッグスクールはたくさんあるので良い所を探して相談すれば良いだけ😌 飼い主とのお出かけなら 安心して吠えずに済むとか、自由にくん活しなくても楽しいと思わせるだけの関係値を構築することが重要で、そのために"しつけ"が意味を成してくるのです👍 僕はお散歩中に『お利口ですね』とか『かっこいい』や『可愛い』と言われたら、 『俺たち最高だな！！』って犬とハイタッチしたくなるくらい嬉しいものです😆 ↑ここが重要で"俺たち"ってとこがポイント！！ 飼い主の努力だけじゃどうにもならないし、その逆も然り。 それが早く形として現れる場合もあれば、なかなか実らないことも現実としてある事も知っています。 Friendly】 愛犬家の皆様からすると「Dog friendly」なお店はすごく助かると思います。 犬が家族の一員としていろんな場所にお出かけ出来ると楽しいですよね😄 ここで大切になってくるのは、“available“ではなく“friendly“であるという事です🧑🏫 「Welcome!!」 だけれど 「なんでも許される」 ってことではないってこと👍 お店の中には、わんちゃん連れじゃない方もいるだろうし、もしかしたら苦手な方もいるかもしれない😌 犬に優しい環境を作っていくためには、犬を飼っている側も周りに配慮をしていかないといけないです😉 まず、カフェや飲食店での最低限出来た方がいいことは 2枚目の様に、椅子やソファに上がることをOKにしてくれるお店の場合、ブランケットなどを準備しておくこと👍 お散歩の流れで利用する事が多いかと思いますが、人が靴のまま席に立ってしまうのと同じです😥 お店側や、周りの方への配慮としてこれは大切です😊 もう一つは、小型犬から大型犬まで共通で、犬側もリラックス出来ること！☺️ 人もコーヒー飲んだり、家族や友達と話しながらリラックスしている状況で一緒に来たわんちゃんも落ち着いていられるかはすごく大切。 わんちゃん自身が落ち着いていられれば、立っていても、座っていても、伏せていてもなんでも構いません👍 他の方に迷惑にならない様飼い主の近くで落ち着けていられればOK!!! もしどうしたらそれが出来るかわからないって時は、ご来店時にご相談ください🤗 まだまだ犬との共生において肩身の狭い日本を嘆くより、犬のマナーの水準を上げることで、皆が犬を受け入れやすい環境を自分達で作って行きましょう！！ #保護犬 4ヶ月程HOGOKEN TOKYOにて生活していたトイプードルの『プアちゃん』ですが、新しいお家が決まりました👏 栄養失調、アレルギー、脂漏症、脱毛、腹水、過去の誤飲による開腹手術等々、新しい家族のご理解の元、健康状態が回復するまでしっかりとケア出来ました🏥 プアちゃんは、初めは犬も苦手、甘えるのも上手じゃなく、お散歩も出来ずでしたが、人や犬とたくさん触れ合う中で、なかなかのおてんば娘っぷりを発揮するまでになりました😄 今回は頻繁に会える距離ではないですが（23区内）、こまめに連絡を取り合いながら様子は伺っております☺️
