犬の飼い主さんの中で、海外の様に 犬がもう少し自由に出来たらいいなとか、 犬と入れるお店が増えたり、電車や飛行機に乗りたい など『Dog Friendly』に対する願いは誰しもが抱えていると思います。 海外と日本でなぜこれほどまでに、犬に対して自由を与えられる範囲が違うのかについて言葉の持つ意味の差が関係しているのではというお話しになります。 freedom＝自由 単純に訳すとこうなりますが、仏教的『自由』とキリスト教的『自由』は解釈が異なります。 分かりやすく言うと 仏教的には"束縛からの解放" キリスト教的には"神との正しい関係性。勝手気ままが許されるわけではない" すごく端的に説明するとこうなり、自由を得るためにするべき行動や責任に対する根本的な考え方が違ってきます。 海外のように犬も自由に入れるお店や場所が増えたらいいなとなる場合、自由が他者に対して向いているキリスト圏と、自由が自分に対して向いている日本ではスタートが違うので、ルール統一が厳しいと思います。 『Dog friendly』を履き違えている飼い主や、お店も少なくないと感じていて、犬に優しい＝なんでもOKみたいな感覚を持ってしまうと、いつまで経っても犬に市民権は与えられないのではないでしょうか。 ちょうど2年前に飼い主の急病での入院によって、HOGOKEN TOKYOに仲間入りしたまろ。 はじめは、大変の一言に尽きるくらい手をやきました😅 一般的な犬の噛みに対する相談内容の全てを網羅しているある意味モデル犬か？ってレベルで、誰彼構わず歯を当てちゃう子でした。 いくら世の中的に、保護犬を飼いましょうみたいな流れだとしても、噛んだ事があるとか、病気持ちだとかはなかなか受け入れてもらえないのが現状で、いかにそこをクリアしていくか。 まろの許容を広げていけるかが、日々の課題でした📄 オビディエンス（sitやdown）の徹底 保定の練習 ブラッシングに対する慣れ これをひたすらに続けたまろの日々📓 その成果が、犬と暮らすの初めてで子どものいるお家に旅立つことが出来ました👍 あとトライアル中、中学生の息子さんが朝6時半から散歩に行っていたみたいなんですが、 これ当たり前のようで当たり前じゃないと個人的には思うんです🤔 初めて会った日、トライアル開始日は『大丈夫かな？』となるくらい心の距離がありましたが、トライアル最終日にはいい兄弟になれそうだなと思えるくらいに仲良しになっていて、安心させてもらいました😊 まろにとって、家族3人の愛情を独り占め出来てとても幸せそうな表情をしております😉 これから家族4人となり、たくさんの思い出を作っていってください🎞️ そして、まろを可愛がって頂いた皆様、ありがとうございました😌 犬と暮らすと年収が1300万増えるのに匹敵する満足度があるとの研究結果が出ましたね！ ただ数字にしてしまうと『そんなもんじゃなくね？』ってなる人もいると思うので、なぜ満足度が上がるかを少し解説👨🏫 精神科医で作家の樺沢紫苑さんの著書『３つの幸福』という本を参考に、犬に当てはめてみました📕 この本をすごく短く説明すると、ピラミッドの頂点から順に 1️⃣ ドーパミン的幸福：目標達成や挑戦で得る“ワクワク” 2️⃣ オキシトシン的幸福：家族・仲間・ペットとの“つながり”で満たされる安心感 3️⃣ セロトニン的幸福：自然・運動・感謝で育む“心の安定” この３つを、正しい順序でバランス良く満たすと、人生がぐっと豊かになる！ という内容で、 意識する順番は土台であるセロトニン的幸福から順に高めていく事であり、順番をミスると幸福度は上がらないってのが結構大事。 犬との暮らしにおいては、この３つを同時に底上げ出来る稀有な存在なのだと思います🤓 とはいえ、めっちゃ大事なのは人だけでなく犬にもこのサイクル（ピラミッド構造）が重要になるという点👨🏫 常にドーパミンが出まくっている犬は共生していく上ではなかなか難しい事に成りかねないので、 セロトニン → オキシトシン → ドーパミンの順に重ねることにより 刺激（ドーパミン）に振り回されず、安定（セロトニン）と絆（オキシトシン）が支える“ブレない幸福”を継続させる事が出来ると思います。 1.まずはセロトニン的幸福を最優先で確保 •朝散歩・適度な運動・睡眠リズムを「犬と一緒に」徹底。これが人にとっても、犬にとっても、双方の心身の安定土台になる。 2.毎日に“絆の時間”を散りばめてオキシトシンを回す •しっかりアイコンタクト→ゆっくり撫でる → 褒め言葉等 •忙しい日でも、側で一緒にうたた寝とかでもOK 3.ドーパミンは“スパイス”として計画的に •たまに新しいトリックを入れたり、2人で決めた小さな目標設定で「成功体験の連続」を演出。 •過度に成果だけに偏ると刺激依存になりやすいので、“オフの日”も必ず入れる。 【まとめ】 オールドイングリッシュシープドッグのCREMA ♀ およそ2歳（誕生日不明） 保護経緯は飼育放棄になります。 ほぼ外飼いの状況だったCREMAちゃん🐶 毛玉がやばく、皮膚も赤く炎症があったり 足裏も排泄物を踏んでそのままで炎症起きてたりで バリカンやブラッシング時に痛みと初めての経験で歯を当ててしまったりと最初のケアになかなか時間がかかりましたが、 今では、ブラッシング、足裏のバリカンや耳掃除もへっちゃら👍 甘えん坊過ぎて、さすがシープドッグ！ 他の子を散歩に行くタイミングで追いかけて来て 『おいてくなー！！！』 とお尻や足にハムハムして来ておりましたが、今はそれも無くなりルール学習はめちゃくちゃ早い子です！ HOGOKEN TOKYOに約10カ月ほど在籍しておりました ラブラドールのSandyが 先日卒業いたしました👏 他犬への咬傷歴のある子としてHOGOKEN TOKYOに来たSandyですが、今ではみんなの良き遊び相手🤝 特にパピーや身体の弱い子には一際優しくどんだけ雑に遊ばれても許してあげれるお姉さんになりました☺️ 気の強い犬や、散歩中に出くわすイケイケなわんちゃんには強気になってしまう時もありましたが、だいぶ改善しコマンド優先に徐々に成長👍 保護犬を飼いましょうみたいな風潮になってるとはいえ（安易だなと思っている部分ありますが）、大型犬や咬傷歴があるとなかなか難しいのが現状… そんな中素敵な里親さんが少し前に見つかり無事に卒業いたしました🌸 大型犬を迎え入れるために戸建てへの引越しを考えている中で、Sandyと出会い急ピッチで物件を決めてリノベーションを進めて待ちに待った譲渡になりました☺️ 毎週必ず土日は会いに来てお散歩行って、平日もお昼の時間が取れたら10分だけでもと散歩に来ていた里親さんとルンルンで卒業して行ったSandy🐶 初日から体調崩したりせず、お家でイタズラもせず、とても楽しそうに過ごしている様子が送られてきてます🏠 HOGOKEN TOKYOに10ヶ月在籍していた 土佐犬の『うるちゃん』 先日、卒業しました👩🎓 うるちゃんの"犬種""性格"等様々な要因を考え、里親さんからの希望もありしっかり2週間トライアル🏠 毎日うまくいった事、もっとうまくいくように連絡を取りながら、一つ一つ真摯に向き合って取り組んでくれた里親さん👏 こちらの期待以上にうるちゃんと上手に接してくれて、120%安心させて頂きました😊 トライアル明け準備期間を終えて卒業の日。 自宅に送って行くと、自ら先に家に入って行き 『いらっしゃい』 と言わんばかりに、後から来る僕を出迎えるように待ち構えていたうるちゃん🐶 家で話をしている最中も、 トライアル中にお気に入りだったソファ🛋️ 新しく準備されていた特大のベッド🛏️ でくつろぎ 新しく買ってもらっていた大量のおもちゃ🧸 で自由気ままに遊び うるちゃんの行動から、素敵な里親さんに出会えてよかったねと心から思いました🥲 僕は犬を引き取る時、里親が見つからない可能性を考え最期まで看取る覚悟で引き取ります。 そもそも覚悟や冷静な判断、熟考せずに飼い始めるから放棄される犬がいるので、これは全ての飼い主が持つべきものだと思うので、保護する側もそうあるべきだとの考えです。 HOGOKEN TOKYOとしては、譲渡が目的ではなくその子が今までよりもずっといい環境で、QOLが爆上がりする事が目的であるべきだと思っています。 その子にとって保護される前よりはHOGOKEN TOKYO。 HOGOKEN TOKYOよりも新しいお家。 これが成立しなければ、譲渡はお断りさせて頂いてます🙇 その中でも、うるちゃんは犬種、サイズ、性質、いろんなものを考えきっとHOGOKEN TOKYOの子になるんだろうなと思っていた部分もあるし、とはいえ希望者が現れてくれた時のためにうるちゃんと日々過ごしてきました。 HOGOKEN TOKYOにいた期間、老若男女問わず本当に多くの方がうるちゃんに会いに来てくれて、たくさんの経験をさせて頂きました。感謝いたします🙇 毎回喜びと寂しさとが入り混じるなんとも言い難い感情になるのですが、『幸せになってね』と『元気でね』が口に出すと涙が出そうになるので直接言えなかったけれど、 最近は、お母さん・うる・娘さんで同じ部屋で川の字で寝ているという微笑ましい報告を受けて、とってもほっこりしています☺️ これからも定期的に『うるちゃん通信』はやって行きます📰 うるちゃんを可愛がって頂いた皆様 SNSで応援して頂いている皆様
