He released an anthology of his past recordings, “Inaudible Works 1994-2008,” which contains Hyu’s unreleased tracks and other versions of released tracks on Osaka-based label EM Records. Last summer in Norway, writer and art historian Torunn Larsen released “turi,” a design book that introduces more than 500 illustrations and photographs by Turi during her career, as well as stories from her creative and personal life with her friends and colleagues. Last November, Simon and Goedele, directors of the Norwegian design studio and publisher “trykkSAK,” who designed the book, visited Japan and held a talk event “可愛いノルウェーへようこそ ～世界を魅了する北欧デザイン、turiの世界; literally: Welcome to Cute Norway: The World of turi,” at the Scandinavian goods store “Sticka,” owned by Scandinavian journalist Yuriko Mori. The performance in Kyoto will be given on February 24 at the ROHM Theater Kyoto, and the Tokyo performance will be presented on March 19 at the PARCO Theater. This project began when Ishibashi asked Hamaguchi to produce a video for her.
