They quickly formed the unit "Three K's." Kobayashi-san invited me to their first live show. 😊 Ever since I was a child, even when listening to pop records, I've always been more interested in the horn section than the vocals. I had three matches that year, and on New Year's Eve, a match was scheduled against the troublesome giant, The Predator. The day after I even held a press conference, I was hit squarely in the left eye by a knee kick from Takeru (deceased), during a professional practice. As a result, I suffered a fractured orbital floor and was forced to cancel the match. I was immediately admitted to the ENT department, where surgery was performed. An endoscope was inserted through my nostril, a hole was drilled into the side wall of the back of my nasal cavity, a balloon was inserted into my sinus, saline was poured in to inflate it, and the eyeball, which had sunk into the floor of my broken orbit, was lifted up. However, even now, 20 years later, when I get around this time of year around the time of the injury, I still suffer from the aftereffects of numbness in the left half of my face, inflammation of the perforated sinus, pus dripping down my throat when I sleep, causing me to cough nonstop and sometimes developing a fever. For these reasons, I have had to cancel my work at the medical association party and the event at ABC Toyokawa. I would like to offer my sincere apologies to everyone who was looking forward to these events and to the organizers. We had just reunited with Yazawa, who regularly frequents the restaurant, after several years. Then a group of musicians who had just finished an event arrived. It was our first reunion in 10 years with Hirofumi Bamba, aka Banban, known for his hit songs "Ichigo Hakusho wo Mouichido" and "SACHIKO." The person I exchanged greetings with for the first time was Stardust Revue vocalist Nemoto Kaname, who is also well known for his classic songs "Mokuren no Namida" and "Konnya dake Kitto." The word "paranormal phenomenon," which appears on the book's cover, has many meanings, and some may wonder what religion this is about. However, what Grand Master Ishii is preaching in this book is not religion, but "teachings" and "learning." The representative director of the Hozugawa River Boat Enterprise Association, Mr.Toyoda, studied under Oyama Shigeru, the head of USA Oyama Karate (now World Oyama Karate), and this visit was a chance encounter. The duration of the trip varies depending on the weather and the level of water in the river, but on this day it took just two and a half hours, and we were able to fully enjoy autumn Kyoto, even though it was still a little early for the leaves to change color. It was a complete tear of the rotator cuff (supraspinatus) in my right shoulder and the onset of sciatica due to spinal stenosis. Rather than chasing weight, I honed my technique for perfect reps, meaning that the load does not escape throughout the entire range of motion. After that, once I had completed a certain number of reps, I would increase the weight by 2.5kg next time. Former Twist leader Kinta Futogane's Cocky (70th Birthday) Pop Live 2025 was held at Ebisu Garden Room, and I was once again honored to participate as a guest vocalist. The musicians who gathered were also incredibly impressive. Hitoshi Minowa, former keyboardist for Hound Dog, Hideki Samejima, bassist for Hound Dog & Twist. Both of these guys are also well-versed in martial arts and were thrilled to meet me for the first time. Other performers included legendary rhythm & blues singer Issei Endo Shark. Special surprise guest ASKA also made an appearance. The audience was thrilled with the three-hour live performance. In addition to familiar members of the Hanakei family, including Yohei Onishi and Toshiya Fujisawa, Suzuki Konomi and OxT made surprise appearances from the anime song world. And with the arrival of the biggest final boss in Hanakei history, Sachiko Kobayashi, the feast was extravagant and spectacular. Sachiko's performance of "Hana no Keiji: Blooming in War" and her cover of the memorable debut work, "Kabukimono Koiuta," was truly moving. This was my first reunion with Sachiko-san since we co-starred on Nippon Television's popular program "THE Yorumo Hippare" about 20 years ago. First up is the Car Lover Cup, a golf tournament hosted by the Car Convenience Club, for which I am the mascot. Last time I participated in this competition, I suffered from severe sciatica and had to retire after the halfway point, so unfortunately I couldn't play this time, but I did manage to host the awards ceremony party. Fellow image character Norika Fujiwara also attended the award ceremony, adding a touch of brightness to the party. It's been nine years since I met President Seiji Hayashi.
