#抜海駅 #JR北海道 #宗谷本線 ダイヤ改正に伴って抜海駅が廃止となりました。 日本最北端の無人駅である抜海駅は、1924年6月25日に開業してから101年。 開業当時からの木造駅舎が改修されながら使われてきた、最北の秘境駅とも呼ばれています。 抜海「ばっかい」の響きも力強い地名は、抜海漁港近くにある抜海岩のアイヌ語「パッカイ・ペ＝子を背負う・もの」が由来と言われてるそうです。 数年前に宗谷ラッセルの撮影時に立ち寄った抜海漁港では、可愛いアザラシも見かけました🦭 日本の果て、北のてっぺん、最北端。 長い歴史の中で住民や鉄道ファン以外にも沢山の人がこの駅を訪れたと思います。 最終日は惜別の人達で賑わってましたが、南幌延駅と雄信内駅同様に地域やJR関係者の方々が温かく迎え、そして見送っていました。 おかえりなさい。いってらっしゃい。 #南幌延駅 #雄信内駅 #JR北海道 #宗谷本線 ダイヤ改正に伴って、宗谷本線では南幌延駅と雄信内駅、抜海駅の3駅が廃止となりました。 (抜海駅は後日投稿予定) 南幌延駅は1959年11月1日から66年。 雄信内駅は1925年7月20日から99年。 私にとっての宗谷本線の両駅は、最初はラッセル撮影から知ることになりました。 北海道の地名はアイヌ語由来が数多くあるけど「おのっぷない」「(みなみ)ほろのべ」も同様です。 南幌延駅の小さな待合室には、冬の除雪用に黄色いスノーダンプ/ママさんダンプが置いてありました 雄信内駅は木造の古い駅舎で、古さよりも立派だと感じるのは道産子だからでしょうか。 最終日は両駅共に関係者の方々が準備されていて、温かい雰囲気の中で最後の訪問となりました。 駅はいろんな人の思い出が交差する場所。
