As mentioned on the previous post, there is an amusing story behind this shoot: this was the last set we shot so we were running a little low on time, the harness turned out to be pretty confusing to put on, and I think it wound up being backwards because the tag was showing (which I then edited out 😆). The blazer was also a tad too large so the studio owner kindly came over with some clips to help us out... 😅 Still I felt the harness was a critical part of the look: with it as a decorative piece the open blazer becomes deliberate. A more fashion-styled shoot; the theme I had in mind was something that feels opulent, almost decadent, hence the grapes and the wine (actually it's sparkling juice 🤣). This location was actually scouted by @creativision ! I attended one of their meetups a while back. I really liked this studio and thought it would be a great fit for this shoot. The brown backdrop reminds me a little bit of Gustav Klimt's artworks. Scroll to the right for an extra photo at the end... I tried a different approach for this shoot: letting the game play out with only a little direction and capturing the scenes as they unfold. We shot this scene in one take; I think the results feel more natural and candid this way? This was a more ambitious project that required a fair amount of planning and preparation. @anna_lynn_cos_, @taellyv and I worked closely together to coordinate the outfits, find a suitable venue, and come up with ideas for activities. I'm really grateful to have such wonderful friends to collaborate with! I try to post only after I've edited the entire set to better maintain consistency across the photos, and this set was larger and thus more difficult than anticipated.
