A soft spectrum of a hundred shades, enriched by the blessings of nature. 3/13(Wed.) ~ MIZEN BLUE「勝」SHO - 米沢織 “黎明”を使用して仕立てた新作の発表をいたします。 We will showcase new pieces tailored using the original pattern “Reimei 黎明（DAWN）” created for this collection. ◆MIZENオリジナル反物 “黎明” 本作品は、黎明「夜明け、太陽の一線の輝き。新たな一日、事柄がはじまる。」をイメージとして製作。糸使いとして、経糸に光沢のある絹糸を 10 色以上使用して、緯糸には強撚糸と真綿の手引き紬を組合わせ“さらり”としながら、素朴感を出しました。 染色:紅花、ログウッド、石榴(ざくろ)、黄蘗(きはだ)、渋木(しぶき)、合成染料 ◆MIZEN signature KIMONO “黎明”Reimei (DAWN) This fabric draws inspiration from the beauty of dawn, capturing the delicate radiance of the first rays of sunlight as they herald the arrival of a new day. When selecting threads, we meticulously curated over 10 shades of lustrous silk threads for the warp, complemented by high-twist yarn and hand-spun floss silk for the weft. The result is a fabric that exudes a velvety smoothness and an enchanting allure. This piece invites you to explore various styles for multiple situations. ◆レイヤードワイドパンツ 前身頃の着物が股下から後ろを通って再び前身頃に流れる構造で、脚を２重に包むレイヤーと２重に締めたバックルがついた太めのウエストベルトが特徴のワイドパンツ。ボリュームのある生地が足の動きに合わせて大きく揺れる袴の様なシルエットで、マニッシュな雰囲気のあるデザイン。外側のベルトにはオリジナルで作成したレーステープを使用しています。 ◆LAYERD WIDE TROUSERS These wide pants feature a unique design where the kimono fabric in the front flows from the crotch to the back and then back to the front. They feature layers that wrap twice around the legs and a thick waist belt with a double buckle design. Originally an active textile designer, Mr. Shimoi uses his experience to create sophisticated and urban designs of tsumugi (a type of silk fabric). Unlike typical fabric manufacturing, which often involves a division of labor, Mr. Shimoi's workshop handles the entire process in-house, from thread making and dyeing to weaving. His ability to repeatedly combine dye materials until satisfaction is achieved and to employ various weaving techniques in a flexible production style is often referred to as "Shimoi Magic".
