ホノルルでの公演 ANA ‘AhaMeleを終えました。ハワイシアターでのコンサートと、ブルーノートでの2回の公演、そして現地の小学校の訪問と今年も充実した滞在となりました。偶然にも三浦君とホノルルで遭遇するとは思いもよりませんでした。こういうサプライズも楽しい思い出です。ハワイシアターでは、ドビュッシーの「月の光」、リストの「ラ・カンパネラ」、ショパンの「革命」を、ブルーノートでの1日目は、ショパンの「ノクターン第8番」、カプースチンの8つの演奏会用エチュードから「プレリュード」、リストの「ラ・カンパネラ」、リー・ハーラインの「星に願いを」を、ブルーノートでの2日目は坂本龍一の「戦場のメリークリスマス」、リストの「ラ・カンパネラ」、即興を1曲、リー・ハーラインの「星に願いを」、ショパンの「革命」、最後にハロルド・アーレンの「オーバー・ザ・レインボー」を演奏しました。そして約6週間の海外公演を終えて、日本に帰国しました。休むことが大嫌いな僕は12月から始まる「プレミアム・リサイタル」のツアーに向けて空港からピアノに直行して、ツアーが始まるまでは練習漬けです。ドビュッシーの「版画」から始まり、初めて演奏するプロコフィエフの戦争ソナタとベートーヴェンのハンマークラヴィーアという大変なプログラムですのでご来場いただく皆さまも体調を整えてお越しくださいね！ The concert “ANA ‘Aha Mele” has just finished in Honolulu. This year, it was another productive stay with a concert at the Hawaii Theatre @hawaiitheatre , two performances at the Blue Note @bluenotehawaii , and a visit to a local primary school. I never thought I would run into Funi Miura @fumiakimiura in Honolulu by chance. Surprises like this are also fun memories. The encores are, At the Hawaii Theatre, Debussy's "Clare de lune", Liszt's "La Campanella", and Chopin's "Revolutionary"; The first day at the Blue Note, Chopin's Nocturne No. 8, "Prelude" from Kapustin's Eight Concert Etudes, Liszt's "La Campanella", and Leigh Harline's "When You Wish upon a Star". The second day at the Blue Note featured Ryuichi Sakamoto's 'Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence', Liszt's 'La Campanella', one improvisation, Lee Harline's 'When You Wish Upon a Star', Chopin's 'Revolution' and finally Harold Arlen's 'Over the Rainbow'. Then, I returned to Japan after a six-week overseas tour. I hate taking a break, so I went straight from the airport to the piano to prepare for the 'Premium Recital' tour in December, and I will practise until the tour begins. The programme begins with Debussy's 'Estampes', followed by my first performance of Prokofiev's 7th Sonata and Beethoven's Hammerklavier, so many challenging pieces, so I hope everyone who comes to the recital will be in good shape! @ana.japan #ahamele

アデレード近郊にあるウカリアでのリサイタルが終わりました。ホールの近くのコテージに宿泊し、ワイナリーに囲まれた美しいホールでたくさん練習しました。アンコールではドビュッシーの「月の光」、リストの「ラ・カンパネラ」と「ワルティング・マチルダ」、ショパンの「革命」を演奏しました。約4週間滞在したオーストラリアでは沢山の想い出を作る事が出来ました。また近いうちに戻って来たいです。リサイタルの翌日はシドニー経由でホノルルに向かい、すでに1つのコンサートを終えました。ハワイについてはまた後日。ホバートでは『2番目の映像のピアノ』で演奏しました。ホバートでのコンサートが随分前のことのように感じます。 A recital in Ukaria, near Adelaide, has finished. I stayed in a cottage near the hall and practised a lot in the beautiful hall surrounded by wineries. The performance was held in a lovely hall, so the audience was very close to me, and I could feel that everyone was listening attentively. I played Debussy’s Moonlight, Liszt’s La Campanella, Waltzing Matilda, and Chopin’s Revolution as encores. I made many memories during my four-week stay in Australia, and I hope to return soon. The day after the recital, I travelled to Honolulu via Sydney. One concert has already been completed. I will write more about Hawaii in the coming days. さてタスマニアでもピアノを選ぶことが出来ました。さて、どちらのピアノを選んだでしょうか？そしてホバートでの演奏会が終りました。タスマニア交響楽団の皆さんとアイヴィン・オードランさんの指揮でベートーヴェンのピアノ協奏曲第2番を演奏しました。アンコールではベートーヴェンのピアノ・ソナタ「悲愴」の2楽章とショパンの「革命」を演奏しました。舞台袖に一枚の紙が置いてあり、何人かで僕が何の曲をアンコールで演奏するか予想していたみたいです。「悲愴」も「革命」もリストの中に含まれていないので僕の勝ちです🥳 初めてのタスマニアでしたが、皆さんが仰っていた通り、水も空気も食事も美味しい素晴らしい場所でした。また訪れる日を楽しみにしています！明日はアデレードに飛びます！ Now, in #tasmania , I could also choose a piano. Now, which piano did I choose? And, the concert in Hobart has ended. I played Beethoven‘s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Eivind Aadland. For encores, I played the second movements of Beethoven’s Piano Sonata, ‘Pathetique’, and Chopin’s Etude, ‘Revolutionary’. Offstage, there was a piece of paper, and it looked like a few people were trying to predict what piece I would play for an encore. I won because neither ‘Pathetique’ nor ‘Revolution’ was on the list! It was my first time in Tasmania, and, as everyone said, it was a wonderful place with good water, air and food. メルボルンでのリサイタルが終りました。メルボルンは初めて滞在する場所で、初めての会場での演奏でしたが、素晴らしい響きの中で楽しく演奏する事が出来ました。お客様にも楽しんでいただけた様子でしたので、アンコールを多めに弾いてしまいました。終了時間が遅くになってしまってごめんなさい。アンコールはドビュッシーの「月の光」、リストの「ラ・カンパネラ」、「ワルティング・マチルダ」の即興、そしてショパンの「革命のエチュード」を演奏しました。そして翌朝は5時起き6時出発でタスマニアのホバートに到着。さっそくタスマニア交響楽団の皆さんと最初のリハーサルを終えました。ブリスベンやシドニー、メルボルンで皆さんタスマニアは美味しい魚が食べられると伺っていましたので楽しみにしています。さてメルボルンの「どっちのピアノにしようかな」の答え合わせです。正解は1番のピアノで演奏しました。タスマニア編もあるかも。こちらもお楽しみに、あのねのね👉 I have just finished my recital in Melbourne. It was my first time in Melbourne and my first time playing in a venue, but I enjoyed playing in a beautiful acoustic environment. The audience seemed to enjoy it so much that I played many encores. I am sorry that the concert ended so late. The encore was Debussy’s “Clair de lune”, Liszt’s “La Campanella”, an improvisation from “Warting Matilda”, and Chopin’s Etude “Revolutionary”. Then, in the next morning, I woke up at 5 am and left at 6 am to arrive in Hobart, Tasmania. I immediately completed my first rehearsal with Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. I had heard from everyone in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne that Tasmania is a great place to eat delicious fish, so I am looking forward to it. Now, to answer Melbourne’s “Which piano shall I play?”, I played the piano number one (the first video). There may also be a Tasmanian version...😉

シドニー交響楽団とニコラス・エリスさんの指揮でラフマニノフのピアノ協奏曲第3番を演奏しました。1日目のアンコールはショパンの「革命」のエチュード、2日目は「ラ・カンパネラ」を演奏しました。またリサイタルも、前回より大きな会場のオペラ・ハウスでの演奏でしたので、たくさんのお客様にご来場いただいた様子でした。アンコールはドビュッシーの月の光、リストのラ・カンパネラを演奏し、ワルチング・マチルダの即興で終えようと思いましたが、もう一曲ショパンの革命のエチュードを演奏しました。シドニーは今回で3度目の滞在です。リサイタル公演もあり練習時間に1日の多くを割いたのであまり自由な時間がありませんでしたが、フェリーに乗って海岸沿いのレストランで食事をしたり今回も楽しく滞在する事ができました。またシドニーに戻って来られる日を楽しみにしています。 I played #rachmaninov ’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with the @sydneysymphonyorchestra , conducted by Maestro @nicolas_ellis_camus . The #encore on the first night was #chopin ’s #etude ‘#revolutionary ’, and on the second day, “#lacampanella ” by #liszt . I also played the recital in a larger venue than the previous one in 2017, the @sydneyoperahouse , which seemed to attract a large audience. For the encore, I played #debussy ’s “#claredelune ” and Liszt’s “La Campanella” and thought I would end with an improvisation by #waltzingmatilda , but I played another piece, Chopin’s etude “Revolutionary”. This is the third time I have stayed in Sydney. I had a recital, so I spent most of the day practising. I didn’t have much free time but enjoyed my stay again, taking the ferry and eating at restaurants along the coast. I look forward to returning to Sydney again soon! #beethoven #tempest

マレーシアを後にし、オーストラリアのブリスベンへ向かいました。オーストラリアは2017年以来3度目の滞在です。初めて共演するクイーンズランド交響楽団 @qsorchestra の皆さんとラフマニノフのピアノ協奏曲第3番をマレーシアでも共演したEduardo Strausser @edustrausser さんの指揮で演奏しました。1日目はアンコールの演奏ができませんでしたが、2日目はカプースチンの演奏会用エチュードからプレリュードとリストのラ・カンパネラを演奏しました。またリサイタルもあり、アンコールでドビュッシーの月の光とリストのラ・カンパネラ、そして「ワルチング・マチルダ」を即興でアレンジして演奏しました。 We left Malaysia and headed to Brisbane, Australia. This is my third time in Australia since 2017. For the first time, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra @qsorchestra played with me, so I performed Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3, conducted by Eduardo Strausser, @edustrausser with whom we also played in Malaysia. On the first day, I was unable to play an encore, but on the second day, I played the Prelude from Kapustin’s Concert Etude and Liszt’s La Campanella. マカオでの公演が終了しました。初めての場所、初めてのオーケストラ、初めての指揮者さんと初めて尽くしでしたが、皆さんに暖かく迎えて頂き楽しく演奏する事が出来ました。@liokuokmann @macaoorchestra の皆さん、ありがとうございました。アンコールはリストの「ラ・カンパネラ」を演奏しました。ピアニストの牛牛さん @niuniupiano も聞きに来てくださっていて、終演後は15年ぶりに会う事ができました。そして間もなく三浦文彰君 @fumiakimiura とアーク・フィルの皆さんとの国内ツアーが始まります。こちらも楽しいツアーになりそうです！最後に昨日の動画の答え合わせです。マカオで演奏したピアノは2つめの動画（奥に別のピアノが映っている動画）で弾いているピアノで演奏しました。 I enjoyed the performance in Macau. It was my first time in a new place, my first time with an orchestra and my first time with a conductor, but I was warmly welcomed by everyone and enjoyed the performance. Thank you @liokuokmann @macaoorchestra. For an encore, I played La Campanella by Liszt. Pianist Mr Niu Niu @niuniuniupiano also came to listen to the concert, and we met each other after the concert for the first time in 15 years. Soon, I will start a domestic tour with Mr Fumiaki Miura @fumiakimiura and the ARC Philharmonic Orchestra. It's going to be fun, too! Finally, here is the answer to yesterday's video. The piano I played in Macau was the piano I played in the second video (the one with the other piano in the back).

2年ぶりにヴェルビエ音楽祭に戻って来る事が出来ました。2年前は未だCOVIDの影響もあり開いているお店やレストランも少なかったのですが、今年は活気に満ちた様子を感じる事が出来ました。昨日は朝11時からソロのリサイタルがあり、あまり天気は良くなかったのですが、沢山のお客様にお越し頂きました。またSTAGE＋でのライヴ配信も行われました。ご覧いただいた皆様から多くの感想をお寄せ頂きとても嬉しいです。アンコールはラフマニノフの「ヴォカリーズ」、リストの「ラ・カンパネラ」、ショパンの「革命のエチュード」を演奏しました。昼食後はすぐに室内楽の練習がありました。初めて共演する方ばかりで少し緊張しましたが、皆さんに優しく接して頂き、リハーサルも順調に進んだのできっと今晩は素晴らしい演奏を披露する事が出来るのではないかと今から楽しみにしています。 I returned to the Verbier Festival for the first time in two years. A few shops and restaurants were open two years ago due to COVID, but I felt the town was full of life this year. Yesterday, I had a solo recital starting at 11 am, and although the weather was not so good, many people came. There was also a live streaming on STAGE+. I am delighted to receive many comments from those who saw the concert. For encores, I played Rachmaninov's "Vocalise", Liszt's "La Campanella", and Chopin's Etude "Revolutionary". Immediately after lunch, I rehearsed for tonight's chamber music concert. I was a little nervous because it was the first time I had played together, but everyone was very kind to me, and the rehearsal went well. ベルギーのムジカ・ムンディ音楽祭で演奏してきました。2022年の滞在に続き、今回で2回目の出演です。古い教会での演奏はコンサート・ホールとは違う響きですが、とても心地よく楽しく演奏してきました。アンコールには、ドビュッシーの「月の光」、リストの「ラ・カンパネラ」、最後にショパンの遺作のノクターンを演奏しました。 I performed at the Musica Mundi Festival in Belgium for the second time after my stay in 2022. Performing in an old church has a different sound from a concert hall, but it was very pleasant and enjoyable. ドイツのベルリンに行ってきました。ドイツに来るのは2019年の10月以来です。今年4月にドイツ・グラモフォンと契約を結びましたが、今回はドイツ・グラモフォン本社の皆さんとドイツのユニバーサル・ミュージックの皆さんへご挨拶を兼ねて社内イベントに出演しました。30分足らずのイベントでDG移籍後最初のCDに収録される予定のベートーヴェンのハンマークラヴィーア・ソナタの1楽章や間もなくSTAGE+でLive配信されるヴェルビエ音楽祭で演奏予定のカプースチンなど演奏しました。平日の夕方にもかかわらず、多くの社員の皆様に演奏を聞いていただきました。クラシックのみならず色々な部署の方々に聞きに来て頂き本当に嬉しかったです。お礼も気持ちを込めてアンコールにラ・カンパネラを演奏しました。 I was in Berlin, Germany. The last time I went to Germany was in October 2019. I signed a contract with Deutsche Grammophon in April this year, and this time, I performed at an in-house event to greet everyone at Deutsche Grammophon headquarters and Universal Music in Germany. The event lasted less than half an hour. It included a movement from Beethoven’s “Hammerklavier Sonata”, which will be included on my first CD after my transfer to DG and played one piece from Kapustin, which will soon be available “STAGE+” live at the Verbier Festival. Even though it was a weekday evening, many employees listened to my performance. I was delighted that people from various departments and classical music came to listen to me.
