お陰様で、だいちは無事に退院して、自宅療養中。あとは腰の手術の縫い糸を噛み切らないように毎日監視していますが、すでに2箇所、自分で噛み切り、たいへん！ Thanks to everyone's support, Daichi was safely discharged and is now recovering at home. However, we have to keep a close eye on him every day to make sure he doesn't chew on the stitches from his back surgery. He's already managed to chew through two of them - quite a challenge!

愛猫だいちの入院6日目。カラーも小さいものに変えていただきました。ご飯も自分で食べ、カテーテルも外して自力で排尿できるようになりました。明日退院できる見込みです。 It's Day 6 of Daichi's hospital stay. They’ve switched to a smaller collar, and he’s now eating on his own. The catheter has been removed, and he’s able to urinate by himself. If all goes well, he’s expected to come home tomorrow.

愛猫だいちの入院5日目の面会中。腰の治療箇所の縫い跡が痛々しいけど、私たちの手からは固形の餌を食べるようになりました。 On the fifth day of visiting my beloved cat Daichi in the hospital, I saw the painful stitches on his lower back from the treatment. Despite that, he has started eating solid food from our hands.

だいちの入院二日目の様子です。手からご飯も食べるようになりました。大きなエリザベスカラーが邪魔みたいで少し不満みたいです。まだ、便は自力では出せないようです。 Here’s how Daichi is doing on his second day in the hospital. He’s started eating from my hand, which is a good sign. However, he seems a bit annoyed by the large Elizabethan collar getting in his way. He still hasn’t been able to pass stool on his own yet.

【術後の初面会】ご心配をおかけしましたが、愛猫だいちの6時間以上にも及ぶ骨盤拡張手術は無事におわり、初面会が叶いました。このとおりチューブがまだ付いたままなのに元気いっぱいで、ケージから飛び出しそうでたいへんです。よく頑張った、だいち！そしてみなさん、この一ヶ月もの長い間、温かい励ましと応援をありがとうございました！【Post-Surgery First Visit】 Thank you for your concern. Our beloved cat Daichi's pelvic expansion surgery, which lasted over six hours, was successfully completed, and we were finally able to see him for the first time post-surgery. As you can see, despite still having tubes attached, he’s full of energy and almost ready to jump out of his cage—it's quite a challenge! You did so well, Daichi! And to everyone, thank you so much for your warm encouragement and support over this past month. It truly meant a lot to us!

He has been transferred from an emergency hospital in Minato Ward to a hospital in Machida for his pelvic expansion surgery. 【緊急のご報告】実は昨日、だいちの骨盤拡張手術が行われる予定でしたが、その直前に急性腎不全を再発してしまい、深夜に緊急入院となりました。そのため、手術は延期となってしまいました。再び皆さまにご心配をおかけする状況となってしまい申し訳ありません。今はだいちの強い生命力を信じて見守るしかありません。だいち、がんばれ！ [Urgent Update] Yesterday, Daichi was scheduled to undergo a pelvic expansion surgery. However, just before the operation, he suffered a recurrence of acute kidney failure and had to be rushed to the hospital late at night, forcing us to postpone the surgery. 愛猫だいちのCT検査を受け、骨盤の精密な3D模型を作成していただき、獣医さんとじっくり相談しました。だいちは保護された直後に骨盤の手術を受けたものの、骨盤が狭いままだったため、今回のような便秘や急性腎不全のリスクが完全には解消されていませんでした。そこで今回は、特殊なチタンを使用した骨盤拡張手術を行うことが決まりました。手術日は年明けの1月4日に確定。それまではお薬の力を借りながら、なんとか排便をサポートして年を越す予定です。だいち、手術まであと少し。がんばって！ Our beloved cat Daichi recently underwent a CT scan, and with the help of the veterinary team, we created a detailed 3D model of his pelvis to carefully plan his treatment. When Daichi was first rescued, he had surgery on his pelvis, but since it remained too narrow, he has continued to face risks like the severe constipation and acute kidney failure he’s experiencing now. This time, a surgery using a special titanium implant to expand his pelvis has been scheduled for January 4, right after the New Year. Until then, we’ll rely on medication to help him pass stool and get through the holiday season. だいちが今、病と闘っています。便秘が悪化して尿道を圧迫し、急性腎不全と膀胱炎を併発しました。だいちか保護される前の事故で負った骨盤骨折が原因です。 1週間入院し、一命をとりとめましたが、まだ、自分で水も餌も満足に摂ることができていません。フォロワーのみなさんから、だいちが元気になって、私たちの投稿が再開できますよう、お祈りをいただけたら嬉しく思います。 Daichi is currently fighting a serious illness. His constipation worsened, leading to urethral compression, which caused acute kidney failure and cystitis. This condition stems from a pelvic fracture he sustained in an accident before he was rescued. He was hospitalized for a week and managed to pull through, but he still cannot drink water or eat properly on his own. We would be truly grateful if our followers could keep Daichi in their thoughts and prayers for his recovery, so that we can resume sharing updates with you all.
