That well-balanced cushioning is what makes this shoe stand out. Compared to the EVO SL, the platform feels slightly firmer on landing. Because of that, you can feel a stronger energy return from the ground, which naturally translates into forward propulsion while running. The shoe also feels impressively light. From the moment you put it on, there’s almost no sense of heaviness. In terms of sizing, the length fits true to size. The width is slightly wider, and the upper offers a bit more room, creating a stable and comfortable fit. Even when you pick up the pace, the shoe responds well with a solid rebound. In this race, I led until 79km, but at 81.8km it was judged too dangerous to continue, and I was forced to withdraw. Shibushisa, Charlie, Alex, and all who completed the race broke world records.
