He comes in and says I have some bad news!!?? my first thought was what did he do to my board😳 • he said: “you are not getting this board back”😉 😂 • He loved it and bought it on the spot😎 He says it felt great as soon as he got on it💥 • These boards are made with a 45 degree Carbon layup, Full Sandwich Production, Balanced and Lightweight and 💪 • We all (Edgar, Amer, Jared, and myself ) had a blast riding from Uppers to almost the Harbor and then back upwind . Scared myself a few times and while only hitting 29.8 mph and had a serious blowup. Setting goals and pushing myself was fun, adding my name to the list of watermen and water women that have crossed is an achievement, but the community surrounding this sport is the best part. I finished 38 miles completely exhausted having burned 2100 calories, but greeted by family and friends rejuvenated the soul. Thank you to those behind @molokaiholokai and @paddleimua as well to make this the Koa Kai triple crown. Thank you to my wife for letting me put the time into training and completing this race. This sport is gaining momentum exponentially and excited to see where it goes.
