コンテンツ種別写真動画複数枚｢#PR｣つき投稿 関連投稿国 指定なし日本 関連都道府県 指定なし 並び替え投稿日順 ライク数順 コメント数順 エンゲージメント率順高校生の頃に何度も観た映画があります。 『Scarface』。 最高にイカしていたアル・パチーノと、透き通るくらい美しかったミシェル・ファイファー。 あの映画を象徴する言葉が、 “THE WORLD IS YOURS.” 若い頃は、この言葉に痺れていました。 そして背中には、魯山人の言葉。 「私は人間の皆が美しいことを好み、良い物を良いとわかり、本当の道を歩くことが本当だとわかり、仮りにも邪欲の道に陥ることのないよう力を尽したい。」 欲しいものを掴めという言葉と、邪欲に流されるなという言葉。 本来なら真逆なのかもしれません。 でも、自分の中ではどちらも大切です。 若い頃に憧れたものも、今の自分を支えているものも、結局は今の自分を作っているから。 今回は、その二つを一枚のTシャツに載せました。 しかも、あの乾燥機に入れてしまった極上Tシャツに。 プリントはクラック加工。 着込むことで少しずつひび割れが増え、ヴィンテージのような表情へと変化していきます。 綺麗なままより、少し崩れた方が格好が良い。 そんなTシャツです。 ⸻ There’s a movie I watched over and over again when I was in high school. Scarface. Al Pacino at his coolest, and Michelle Pfeiffer with a beauty so striking it almost felt unreal. The film can be summed up in a single phrase: “THE WORLD IS YOURS.” When I was young, that line hit me hard. On the back, I printed a quote by Rosanjin. “I wish to cherish the beauty inherent in all people, recognize what is truly good, understand that walking the right path is the only rightful course, and strive never to fall into the path of base desire.” One phrase says to go after what you want. The other warns against being consumed by desire. They may seem contradictory, but both have stayed with me. The things I admired when I was young and the values that support me today have all become part of who I am. So I put both on a single T-shirt. And not just any T-shirt—the same one I once accidentally threw into the dryer and ended up calling the perfect T-shirt. The print is intentionally cracked. With wear, it will continue to break apart and develop the kind of character you usually only find in vintage pieces. To me, that worn-in look is far more interesting than keeping it perfect. The reason is simple—it’s hard to deal with. Most rayon is dry clean only. But dry cleaning doesn’t really remove sweat. You think it’s clean, but it slowly builds up. And eventually, you just stop reaching for it. On top of that, if you’re worried about shrinkage, you don’t even wash it at home. You hesitate, thinking it might change every time you do. I’ve been told “it won’t shrink” so many times—and proven wrong. A lot of clothing out there is built on this kind of vague, almost dishonest premise. “Won’t shrink” is probably the most typical one. So I remove that uncertainty from the start. At cantáte, anything meant to be washable is garment-washed beforehand. We run it through the process that would normally cause shrinkage or distortion—so you don’t have to deal with it later. Rayon, but washable.
