On Thursday the exhibition “Signs of Life” opened at the @galerietemplon in New York, USA, presenting the installations “Human Rhizome” and “The Web above our Lives”. The single thread symbolizes many meanings, but above all, it is an extension from a pencil line on the paper into the third dimension. I am drawing in the air with the thread. The exhibition also includes various works such as sculptures that hold mundane objects of daily life. The extensive solo exhibition Invisible Line at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum @arosartmuseum in Denmark brings together works that deal with death, illness, and fate – topics that have been the underlying topic in all my works. Questions about my own existence and the path I choose, have gotten urgent for me. My way of dealing with these unanswerable questions is to make art. Official images of the solo exhibition “Silent Word” at Schauwerk Sindelfingen @schauwerk_sindelfingen . The installation with the same name fills the space with letters floating from a centered desk and chair into the sky, stretching over black ropes. The letters expand into the space like a universe of thoughts and emotions, but no one can hear them. I draw many lines of information shared in the universe that connects these words. The installation “The Eye of the Storm” is part of the Bangkok Art Biennale 2022 @bkkartbiennale and contributes to this years theme Chaos:Calm, exhibiting during 22 October 2022 to 23 February 2023. A Storm of turbulent times has passed us all. Thousands of sheets of white paper are connected by red ropes, swirling like a typhoon. The surrounding papers are wildly whirling and rustling as if blown by the wind, but the center stays calm and quiet. The further away from that center, the stronger the wind speed and the greater the damage. I cannot help but feel that this strange natural phenomenon exists within human society and within the human heart.
