The giant rock (3m in height, 4.5m in width) was reproduced in a virtual three-dimensional space, water was simulated to fall onto it, and the simulated movement of that water on the form of the giant rock draws the waterfall. Next to the giant rock, a collection of boulders almost supernatural in their formation surround a small shrine. The water is expressed as a continuum of numerous water particles and the interaction between the particles is calculated. Lines are drawn according to the behavior of the water particles. Depending on the season, different animals live in this forest and ocean that change with the flow of real time. When you touch an animal, it will turn to face you or run away. Download the Catching and Collecting Forest smartphone application. When you use your smartphone's camera to look at an animal moving in the space and release a Research Eye at the animal in the camera’s view, the eye flies out from your phone into the real space. When the Research Eye reaches the animal, it disappears from the space and is added to your smartphone’s collection. Information about the animals you catch will be stored in the app's collection book. At the center of this coexistence and mutual support are large, long-lived trees. Forest ecologist Suzanne Simard calls such large trees "mother trees." When a person stands near the Tabunoki Tree, the nearest sphere shines brightly and resonates a tone. The surrounding spheres respond one after another, and the light and tone continues to resonate out. In the Man'yoshu, the oldest surviving collection of Japanese poetry compiled between the late 7th and late 8th centuries, there is a poem that is said to refer to the tsumama, or tabunoki tree. "Looking at the tsumama on the beach, it looks like a tree that has grown roots and has aged for a long long time. What a godly thing it is". This allows the artwork and people, the self and others, to continue without boundaries. Because water molecules act like magnets, they stick to each other, forming a group of water molecules (a water cluster). Water clusters have an extremely short lifespan and are thought to be constantly being created and broken apart. They have a very dynamic structure and because of that, water can change into various forms.
