Since relocating to rural Sweden, Gill has continued to explore relationships between nature, memory, and photographic materiality. She studied Documentary Photography at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, graduating in 2018. With a background in dance and gymnastics, her work centers around the expressive potential of the human body, often using gesture and posture as key storytelling tools. Through a blend of observation and staging, she explores the relationship between individuals—especially women—and their environments. Her performative, often surreal aesthetic balances in the space between fiction and reality.
