This single comment from Mamun, the factory manager of Matrigol, Motherhouse's own factory in Bangladesh, sparked the challenging creation of 'THE WALKER' - Motherhouse's first leather sneaker. Mamun was bothered by the observation that while Bangladesh has a significant number of shoe factories and many top-tier artisans, most factories only produce simple goods to meet buyer requests. He began to ask questions such as: "What would a Motherhouse-style shoe look like?" "I want to create a shoe that encourages new explorations, no matter the occasion." From Mamun's vision, the "THE WALKER" project was born. And now, we're excited to release "White Cloud," the third color in this series. "I'm incredibly happy with the response we've received for THE WALKER; it's exceeded our expectations. Any new endeavor comes with risks, and it's a continuous process of self-questioning.
