His musical journey began with a solo band led by Børge Sildnes. Under this name, he composed “Last Day” for C AllStar, which was released in 2012. Dylan Mondegreen has served as a guitarist in various bands and has performed in different places including the United States, Japan, China, and Italy. His second self-titled album was awarded by All Music as the best singer-songwriter album in 2012. His works are quiet and elegant, evoking a sense of the casual and carefree Norwegian sunshine and sea breeze, perfectly echoing the attitude of letting things happen naturally in pin pin “翩翩.” Before Christmas, I invited Dylan to read “翩” in a nine-tone six-mode for the second phase of Zou. Without hesitation, he agreed and meticulously verified the pronunciation with me. The recording he later sent was extremely precise. Absolutely fantastic. Next, we will introduce him and his works to everyone. Zou will continue episode by episode. When Tascha is translating, Pin Pin, we are all so amazed by how she kept the rhymes of some of my lines. For example, “Breathe till the day two galaxies arrive Be light like the butterflies” Alongside the rhyming, she even kept the double wordplay of pin pin, which refers to the fluttering movement of dancing, with “dancing light light like so”. and so, we really want to “Keep dancing light light like so” with Zou for the coming months and years.
