We used to use disposable filters, but a few years ago we switched to cotton coffee filters. The waste has, of course, decreased. After use, we have to wash them and throw away the coffee grounds, but whether or not this is considered a “hassle” depends on the individual. We haven’t find this inconvenient at all! It has been a stress-free change, and we will probably never need to buy disposable ones in the future. Rana Plaza, a building in Bangladesh, housed a number of garment factories, employing around 5,000 people.The people in this building were manufacturing clothing for many of the biggest global fashion brands. Over 1,100 people died in the collapse and another 2,500 were injured. This has been documented in the documentary, “The True Cost”, which is a must-see. Let’s use our voice so that every worker who makes the clothes we love is seen, heard, paid properly and working in safe conditions. If you haven't seen the documentary, we highly recommend it.
