(If Instagram crushed the photos I’m deleting and reuploading lol) Osaka day 2 We got food poisoning that morning from the most unfortunately delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had, so I spent most of the morning pretty unwell, but still managed to explore Amemura a bit ✨ Found a piece of home in the window of Kinji in the form of the chip man so obv had to get a photo with him 🍟 And found an interesting sign in the window of a CBD shop… (interestingly the sign was gone a day or two later lol)

Our first night in Osaka we got to find @jasminejgreen and @justjuhtai ✨ it’s always so nice to see friends, and even more special to have an impromptu meeting in a country on the other side of the world from home 🥰 I also think it’s hilarious that I was worried we wouldn’t find them, all we had to do was head to the games floor of Yodobashi Camera and at the first sound of English we beelined round the corner and found them 😂 I think this is the first holiday we’ve had where we’ve managed to see so many people, and there’s still so many we didn’t get to see 😭

A nice couple waiting in line to take photos at the Glico man spot offered to take our photos for us, and we offered to take theirs. If you happen to be those people and see this, thank you again 🤗 my post flight brain was happy to speak English for a bit 😂 I imagine this spot probably looks a bit better during the day (less shadows maybe?), but it was fun and a bit less crowded than standing on the bridge 😱

The start of our Osaka trip ✨ (we are back now) 1. Obligatory airport toilet selfie mid panic attack 2. Reunited 3. Coach journey into the city 4. Cute shop I found on my way to the combini 5. Of course we headed to the most overwhelming place possible as soon as we checked into the hotel 6. Spoilers- we never got to go on the Donki ferris wheel and I’m mad about it. Before the show and after the show 😭🖤 Both nights of Dir en Grey were so amazing 😭🖤 I went alone, and was super nervous, but ended up making friends with the person next to me 🥰 chatted with people on the tube on the way back the 1st night, and met more new people in the queue on the second night 🖤 thank you to Dir en Grey, and thank you to all the super nice people I met for making those two nights so wonderful 😭🖤 and thank you again to Joy for saving me literally the best seat on night 2 😭🙏🖤🖤🖤✨
