もうすぐ七夕ですね。 七夕といえば、願い事をしたためた短冊を笹に吊るし、 夜空に天の川を見上げたりする行事ですが、 ルーツを辿ると古い日本の文化や中国の故事などが複雑に絡み合っています。 七夕は「しちせき」とも読まれ、七月七日の夕方を指し、 古来の中国では七夕の夕べには真菰(まこも)で編んだござを敷き、 初夏の収穫を備え、水を張った七つの盥(たらい)の水面に星を映して愛でたそうです。 織姫と彦星が年に一度出会えるという星合伝説も元々は中国の故事。 古い日本の風習では旧暦七月七日は七月十五日に迎えるお盆の準備をする日で、 七夕はお盆のための神事だったそうです。 日本には「棚機多津女（たなばたつめ）」と呼ばれる女性が水辺の「機屋(はたや)」で 神さまのために着物を織って供え、豊作を祈るという伝承があります。 そんな七夕の伝承をモチーフとした、 奈良 樫舎謹製の =================================================================== "Tanabata Festival" It will soon be Tanabata Festival. Tanabata is a festival in which people hang tanzaku (paper strips of paper with wishes written on them) on bamboo branches and look up at the Milky Way in the night sky, but if you trace its roots, you will find a complicated mixture of old Japanese culture and Chinese folklore. In ancient China, people laid out straw mats on the evening of Tanabata, preparing for the early summer harvest, and admired the stars reflected on the surface of the water in seven tubs filled with water. The legend of star-crossed lovers, in which Orihime and Hikoboshi meet once a year, was originally a Chinese legend. According to an old Japanese custom, the seventh day of the seventh lunar month was the day to prepare for the Bon Festival, which falls on July 15, and Tanabata was a ritual for the Bon Festival. In Japan, there is a tradition that a woman called "Tanabatatsume" weaves kimonos for the gods at a "hatha-ya" near the water and offers them to pray for a good harvest. The "Tanabatatsume" and "Ten-no-Kawa" made by Nara Kashiya are inspired by this Tanabata tradition and are available for a limited time only at Salon. 本日は奈良で挙式を挙げられた新郎新婦さま、 御両家のご家族さまへ茶論にて茶会を行いました。 十一代目 中川政七が使っていた金屏風など、 この日のための設えと樫舎に特別に誂えていただいた練り切りの鹿のお菓子。 主菓子は紅白をイメージした丹波大納言小豆と備中白小豆の葛焼きをご用意しました。 濃茶をお出しした際にはお子様の驚いたお声や、 ご家族さま同士で美味しいね、どろっとしてるね、と感想を言い合ったり、 ご新婦さまのおばあさまが花嫁修業で お茶を習われていた際のお話をされていたり。 お二人の門出のお茶会は終始、新郎新婦さまを祝福するご家族さまの あたたかな空気に包まれておりました。 この茶会でのひとときが、 新郎新婦さま、御両家のご家族さまにとって、かけがえのない思い出となれば幸いです。 お二人の幸せを心からお祈り申し上げます。 霜月の茶会」 「茶論」ではこの度、秋の「口切行事」にちなんだ 「壺切抹茶を愉しむ 霜月の茶会」を開催いたします。 11月は茶人の正月といわれ、茶壷の封を切り、抹茶の新茶を愉しむ月。 「壺切抹茶」は５月頃に摘み取った新茶（碾茶）を「茶壺」に詰めて半年ほど熟成させたのち、 11月頃に茶壺の封を開ける「口切行事」を行い、碾茶を石臼で碾いて作ります。 ひと夏を越すことで選りすぐった碾茶がやわらかく熟成され、まろやかでコクのある風味の抹茶に仕上がります。 本会では封を切ったばかりの「壺切抹茶」をより美味しくお召し上がりいただくために、 奈良・高畑「翠門亭」による「季節の八寸」を、 甘味には奈良「樫舎」謹製の「善哉」と「季節の干菓子」をご用意しております。 また、炉釡を使用し、釜の湯でお一人一碗ずつ、「濃茶」と「薄茶」を提供いたします。
