I usually mix up my musical escapades and personal AG! adventures here haha. Anyway, I finally took the time to go through some of my ATARASHII GAKKO! collection amassed over the past couple of years and sort them out (and finally cleaned my office as a result of this). I’m surprised myself of how much it has grown 😳 2023 and 2024 were wild times. I look back at all of this stuff and tickets stubs kept from their concerts I attended, and reminisce the memories and stories behind them, times were me and my friends would meet up at these concerts as some sort of a reunion all over the world. They’re not just things, but each one holds a great sentiment dear to my heart because of the people and memories tied to them. I guess these are what you’d call “Mementos”. Some items were also made and gifted by friends I’ve met at these concerts, like the custom socks, FLY HIGH gloves, Orion’s cocoa cigarette candy used for the Otonablue MV, promo sponges, etc. @japan_leaders is nearing 10 years this coming summer. I’m curious to see how the next couple of years will go. But for now, I’m looking forward to welcoming them back in their first U.S. show of 2025 next weekend in L.A. - this will mark concert #37 of hopefully more to come 🤣🔥 Hope to make more friends again this year and hope you’ll be part of these memories too! #atarashiigakko #新しい学校のリーダーズ #collection

2023.11.16 The Seishun Tour - St. Paul, MN [Final Stop] @japan_leaders The first time I ever got to cosplay as Mizyu’s Neko Cafe Part-Timer from the Tokyo Calling MV (w/ stuffed cat and table hahaha). I also brought an inflatable guitar and a bunch of head cutouts of japanese comedians who dressed up as them (images i used to make the cutouts provided by @oocrazyxx ) since this was their final stop of The Seishun Tour, we might as well go all out for this last one😅 This show was so fun and one of the most special ones for me and my friends. Looking back at this now, they’ve grown so much as artists and performers, just as much as their crowd sizes and stages have gotten bigger abroad since then just within the past year and a half. They’re only just getting started and there are much bigger things to come. I can’t wait to see what’s next in store for these four! AG! to the WORLD! 🌎🌏🌍 2025 is going to be BIG. Going back to basic form. bibi mypilotis days 😅 Doing a show in a very rare acoustic raw mypilotis form at Oak Hills Tavern on 3/8, joining @please.drown and @tellthetalemusic for a very stripped down evening. I haven’t done this since 2020 (online streaming), and waaaaay back during college days. It’ll be fun to do a mypilotis set in an acoustic version! Hopefully I’ll see you there!
