Aoki Takefumi（陶芸作家） 1991年生まれ。白磁土をスポイト状の道具でごく小さな粒状に絞り出し、それらをつなぎ合わせるように積み上げ、型取りした帯状のパーツと組み合わせた造形作品を制作しています。磁土を型取りすることで生まれるまっすぐで幾何学的な面と、手で一粒一粒絞り出し積み重ねた軽やかで空気感のある面が光を受けて繊細な陰影を見せ、白く凛とした調和を生み出しています。 年京都生まれ。京都市立芸術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程陶磁器修了。生物が作り出す巣や営み、生命の循環などに関心を持ち、それらの形象をドローイングによって部分的に抽出し、陶立体に変換しています。また表面に装飾を施しながら、様々な性質・表情を持つ釉薬を造形に応じて使い分けることで多彩な表情を生み出しています。其々の生物が独自に構築した「環世界」をテーマに、ミクロの世界を探ります。 Instagram: シュテファン・バルケンホール 「good day」 2月14日（金） - 3月22日（土） 11:00 -19:00 会場：小山登美夫ギャラリー京橋 . 【オープニングレセプション】 2025年2月14日［金］ 17:00 - 19:00 *作家も在廊予定です。 . この度小山登美夫ギャラリー京橋では、ドイツの彫刻家シュテファン・バルケンホールの個展「good day」を開催いたします。 本展は作家にとって弊廊での6年ぶり4度目の個展となり、新作を発表します。 . 【シュテファン・バルケンホールと作品に関して ー「普通のようで普通でない」人、動物とミニマリズム的表現の両立】 どこにでもいるようでいて、どこか独特な表情や佇まいの人や動物たち。シュテファン・バルケンホール（1957-）は具象のモチーフをミニマリズム的に表現した立像、レリーフ作品を制作し、国際的に高い評価を得てきました。 一本の木から台座ごと彫り出し、ノミの勢いが残る精巧かつ粗い表面と着彩が印象的であり、難しくないけれどなにか気になる存在性や、見る人にユーモアや内省を誘うような豊かな魅力にあふれています。 バルケンホールは、2019年の弊廊個展時のインタビューに際し、自身の作品に関して次のように語っています。 「ニュートラルな表情で、社会性やファッションの意味とは無縁な、誰でも着られる白いシャツと黒いパンツを身につけている。私の彫刻は、鏡のようであり、鑑賞者が自己を投影するスクリーンのようだと言われることがあります。誰もが送る日常の一瞬を凍らせたような、鑑賞者のあらゆる想像を受け入れるような表情が、そういう批評を生み出すのかもしれません。政治や社会的なメッセージとは一切無縁で、街の広場に置かれた偉い人の彫像のようなモニュメンタルな意味性をもたず、純粋に肉体的な存在感があって、パーソナルな知覚を再認識できるような作品を心がけています。私が考える彫刻とは、そういうものなのです。」*1
