Earlier this spring, we had a live performance at Hanashigoya in Yamagata, and we were invited by Mr. Kashiwagura San from Carmine jewelry company. We had the chance to perform at a wonderful venue with @nasukingnasuking wearing beautiful jewelry from Carmine! We enjoyed our favorite dishes from Le Ciel Bleu (I forgot to take a picture of the box, so here are the dishes we always have when I perform at Le Ciel Bleu 📷). I received a lovely pair of earrings from Casmine as a gift 💠❄️🩵. A big thank you to Mr. Kashiwagura San Hiroko San Mr. Nasu, and Itsuko-nechan, who supported us by attending three of our live performances and helping with CD sales! "SASEBO JAZZ 2023" returned after 4 years, a heartwarming festival. Reuniting with "JAfro" and "Eyrie" units was nostalgic. Performing at Sasebo Jazz was moving. Sasebo's jazz history began in 1991 with "Sunset 99 Live Sasebo," expanded by Hikaru Yamashita and Yurinaga Takashi. Discussions emphasized preserving spirits of those who passed away and sustaining Sasebo Jazz's vibrancy. Thanks to the committee, attendees, and all involved. Each brought sentiments to this Sasebo Jazz edition. Sasebo native Keita Ogawa was honored with the Sasebo City Civic Honor Award, his first outside of sports, during this jazz festival. Witnessing this moment was a joy. Special thanks to @onshokuteibrownie Keita-kun, Yamachika-san, Fukiko Ogawa-san, Akiko-san, and Sasebo Jazz staff for inviting me. A cherished memory.
