⁡ The koto is tightened several times a year. The thread material used to be silk thread, but nowadays Tetoron strings (polyester-based synthetic fiber) are the mainstream. (I used silk thread in high school and college.) ⁡ At the beginning of each year, I have the strings replaced with new ones, called "Araito" (new thread). ⁡ The yarn I used to use is no longer available. We used @silkstring03's new threads from this time. ⁡ The tightness of the string will of course greatly affect the performance and tone, so it is very important to choose the right type of string and to have a good cooperation and trust with the koto's stringer.🤝🏻 ♪ Bitter Rain / ASUKA ⁡ 【お琴の絃】お琴は年に何回か糸締めをします。糸の素材は古くは絹糸でしたが、今ではテトロン絃（ポリエステル系合成繊維）を使うのが主流になっています。（高校・大学時代は絹糸を使っていました。）私は年の初めに"新糸"といって新しい糸に張り替えてもらいます。これまで使っていた【常盤強力琴糸特選17.5】の取り扱いが無くなってしまい今回から【 #丸三ハシモト御琴糸冨貴特選17.5 @silkstring03 】を締めてもらいました。糸締めをお願いしているのは #琴光堂さん。糸の締め具合はもちろん演奏や音色に大きく影響されるので、糸の種類の選択、そして楽器屋さんとの連携・信頼関係がとても大切です。隆さん、いつも最高の糸締めをありがとうございます！ ♪ Bitter Rain / ASUKA
