グレージュに白・藍のラインと銀糸を利かせたもの、橙（だいだい）と金糸で柔らかく仕上げたものの二配色です。 本当に組紐の配色は難しくて悩むのですが、コーディネート担当と詰めに詰めて、最後まで気を抜かず制作しました。発注書を書いて→いや！こっちがいい！→と提出直前まで書き直したりしています。 白生地の状態で野蚕糸の独特の黄みがあります。そのため、発色が難しい一反と引染の職人さんから聞いています。今回のように青を入れた色は特に難しいらしく、試験から手をかけてくれました。 華やぎを残しつつ、いかに甘さを抑えるか。艶は合っても光りすぎない雰囲気を目指す。井上和子時代から挑戦し続けた色ですが、少し輪郭が見えてきた気がします。
