  • ［相聚離開都有時候］ 1/3/25。沒想到在展覽最後一天Gallery門外竟然會形成一條長長的人龍，我們受寵若驚，感謝各位熱烈支持。最感謝的當然是戰友Gloria，因為你毫不猶豫地答應跟我一起做這個聯展，才會有這個高光時刻的出現。本來預備了千言萬語，現在又覺得沒必要說了，一切在心中（或者星期四晚酗酒時先慢慢講啦）。作為認識了彼此十年的朋友，我們是不是又再一次見證到彼此的成長了呢？感謝JPS Gallery的信任、包容與支援，讓我們能盡情做我們想做的。 在我們展覽完結的這一天，方大同逝世的消息也傳來了。對於他的離去，我用了一日一夜的時間去沉澱、消化那種難以名狀、揮之不去的憂傷和空洞感。除了因為喜歡他，也因為當年我成為插畫師後畫的第一個MV作品，就是方大同的《無菇朋友》。他的離開讓我很強烈地意識到某部份或某個階段的自己、某些過往，也已經隨他一起離我遠去了。 生命到底是什麼呢？完結又代表什麼呢？有的藝術家在老年時關注的，是死後自己會怎樣被世人評價；有的則流露出對生命的眷戀，希望死後還能以永垂不朽的姿態繼續創作，如坂本龍一；方大同則純粹灑脫得很：「祝你在未來的日子裡，繼續懷抱夢想，持續努力，成長進化，在人生的每個階段充分發揮自己的潛能。」 盡情地活到最後一天吧。就如我在展覽介紹中所寫的那樣:於我和Gloria 而言，創作即生活。牛油與麵包，是生存的基石、精神的食糧，是想像力，是平淡也是激情。人生就是無數塊麵包的總和，認真對待生活，就是幸福的人生。身為創作者，當你停止疊高麵包，選擇食老本的一刻起，你就已經死去了。 Too old to live too young to die. 既然都如此尷尬了，就別要顧慮努力進化突破吧，共勉。 8) Photo credit: @chowlok 🖤🙌 #art #exhibition #angboulangerie #afaannfa #foodandtravelhk #jpsgallery

  • AIRSTREAM CAFE 位於箱根雕刻森林美術館旁邊有一部1967年製的AIRSTREAM，而裡面其實是一間小小的叫RYUSENKEI的咖啡店。它在網上獲得極高評價並不是沒有原因，不但咖啡好喝，室內佈局十分可愛，店主兼咖啡師還非常親切友善。我們閒談期間有一位伯伯走了進來，很自然地加入了交談，小巧精緻的空間充滿了温暖的人情味。箱根人最引以為傲的果然就是溫泉了，不論是伯伯還是店主，每日都最少會泡溫泉兩次。伯伯說他從東京退休後便回到了這裏生活，乾脆在自己家也建了個私人風呂，每天狂泡好羨慕。 店主說這間咖啡店已經營了十二年，雖然期間有到過其他城市營業，但大部份時間都在箱根。來箱根的朋友不要錯過。 5) Photo credit: Aljosa Asanovic 6) Photo credit: Andrew Clark #cafe #ryusenkei #hakone #retreatants #airstream #airstreamcafe

  • [The making of…] A&G Boulangerie Countdown: 10 Days Left! 大家能看出來展覽中那些是真食物那些是「假」食物嗎？現在就開估吧。其實我這次的麵包作品全部都是木雕+黏土+顏料製作而成的哦。這組《30-day-love-letter》也是其中之一。 《30-day-love-letter》，是我的視覺日記。表面上在記錄愛情，但其實是自己這些年來跟藝術創作的關係與愛恨情仇。有別於以往都以Canvas Painting作主打，在這次展覽中我首次嘗試以木雕作主要媒介。由於還未能將感覺拿捏好，因此當中有很多時間都在試驗，就以這組作品為例，過程中起碼有一半數量的麵包都被我摒棄了再重做，只能形容過程實在是既焦慮又愉快…… 準備展覽後期我和拍檔Gloria 各自的Studio都鋪滿了麵包，分別在於她的都是真的（見最後一條片段），而我的都是「假」的。我們互相分享照片和片段時都覺得畫面很有趣。 展期還剩十天，至3月1號結束。未看的朋友請把握時間了。 JPS GALLERY Tue - Sat: 11am - 7pm Sun and Mon: closed Can you tell which items in the exhibition are real food and which are “fake”? In fact, all the bread pieces in my artwork are fusions of wood carving, clay, and paint. This piece, “30-day-love-letter,” is one of them. “30-day-love-letter” is my visual diary. On the surface it records love, but in fact it reflects the relationship I have had with my artistic creation over the years including all its joys and sorrows. Unlike my previous works, which primarily featured canvas painting, this time I have made my first attempt at using wood carving as the main medium. Since I haven’t quite captured the right feeling yet, much of my time was spent in experimentation. For instance, in this series, at least half of the bread pieces were discarded and re-made, making the process both anxious and enjoyable… In the later stages of preparation my partner Gloria and I filled our respective studios with bread—hers were all real (as seen in the last clip), while mine were all “fake.” We both found the scenarios very interesting.   • 渣馬日。你們跑你們的我做我的🙈。 我並非不喜歡運動的那種人，學生時代也曾是排球隊員，可惜就是討厭（或者害怕？）跑步。曾經也有過一些為了減肥天未亮就上街跑步的日子，但也很快就放棄了。 身邊的人會開始長跑，好像有不少都是基於某種契機，某種契機讓他們渴望改變，於是開始跑步，然後愛上跑步，最後跑步這件事反過來徹底改變了他們的生活和人生態度。我見證過跑步讓身邊人變得積極與開朗，有時心底裡也會對他們的體驗感到羨慕，但羨慕歸羨慕，我還是討厭跑步，想想都覺得痛苦，完全、壓根沒打算開始。 嘛不過世事無絕對，也許有天我的契機也會突然到來讓我拿起跑鞋然後我的人生也會為之轉變吧。更確切來說我並非在說跑步，我正期待著生命中某個契機出現———某個重要的、充滿挑戰的、讓我能生出勇氣、突破自己的時刻，是不是就能讓我變得自信和強大從而改變我的人生軌跡呢？ Um返一返嚟先。其實我只是早上出去上了個一小時的slim fit pilates class然後想post一下喜歡的運動outfits 罷了…我好歹也是有喜歡的運動的ok啦……💦 ［完］ #pilates #這是不是就叫抽水

  • 展覽開幕翌日我跟 @florence.ho.art @623florence 約好了要來個晚飯+cocktail之夜。其實本來既期待又擔心，畢竟開幕翌日我有點累到呈半死狀，怕狀態很差，但事實一再證明跟相同頻率的人chill out 是真的chill-out，不僅不感到疲累，反而還有種充了電的感覺，焦慮也得以舒緩，不覺談到了夜深。綠老頭們還是應該多聚在一起。 Florence 太有心思了，預先給首席調酒師Rayven看了我展覽的作品，以兩杯特調的、切合主題的雞尾酒來跟我慶賀，超感動的，謝謝你🖤 1-4）第一杯雞尾酒以我最喜歡的牛油作主題。那是一杯會讓人感覺很幸福飽滿很溫暖的酒，看到照片便又想再來一杯了。 5-7）第二杯則以佛手柑作主題，清新而溫婉。Rayven也是愛讀書的人，他這次新推出的作品靈感來自於沙士比亞的劇作，並以botanical 材料為主。雞尾酒那麼好喝，四周氛圍優雅而愜意，我卻因為微醉而忘記了Florence點的那杯是什麼了，只記得我們談到好幾年前分別在不同地方看過的《蜷川馬克白》。 療癒的一晚。下次再來好嗎？ #cocktailnight #art #literature #vibes

  • 展覽開幕過了兩天，綠老頭仍然因為幾天之內說太多話而電量耗盡，半死不活，只想一直躺著不說話；那邊廂拍檔Gloria卻在人群中越說越high，她說從群眾裏能獲得更多的能量，還真是I人跟E人的模範對照。還未有力氣整理當晚的照片，先分享一下手機內有的、opening前的小花絮。 1-2）我和這次展覽的好拍檔Gloria Chung👯‍♀️。 不是廣告，Set場那幾天我們真的頻頻在生昌焙豆買咖啡。 3）泰緊張不小心擺出了Sawadee Pose。 4）Gallery旁邊小巷有「學校殺死藝術家。」 5-6）文念中捕蟬，黃雀Vann在後。 7)不見了一段時間，opening前夕卻突然冒出來的麵包一角鎖匙扣表示想跟我一起出席。 8-10）跟我們的作品相當合襯的美麗的花。謝謝你們溫柔的心意。🥰🥰🥰

  • NASA發佈的太空聖誕樹圖片。只有科學才能成就的浪漫。 整個宇宙大概只有地球人能看出這是聖誕樹，或有「聖誕節」這個概念。這天對於某星球人來說可能就只是轉眼一𣊬，然而因為我們就是地球人，因此我們把這一切，以自己的文化及理解為它們賦予了意義。 所以既然來到年終便又提醒自己一次：放開吧。人類既渺小又庸俗，不對自己那麼苛刻也可以啊，就用盡全身心來感受世界吧。忽發奇想，如果連痛苦當下也可以很抽離地將「痛苦」的語境剝掉，當成是一種特殊體驗來感受的話，人類是不是就可以超越人類了？ 再放一首辛波絲卡的《一粒沙看世界》全詩。新一年我的resolution 不再是「早睡早起」，我想要嘗試以全新的目光看待每一件物件每一個詞彙，尋找在日常中突破自己的可能。 聖誕快樂🎅🏻。 //我們稱它為一粒沙， 但它既不自稱為粒，也不自稱為沙。 沒有名字，它照樣過得很好，不管是一般的，獨特的， 永久的，短暫的，謬誤的，或貼切的名字。 它不需要我們的瞥視和觸摸。 它並不覺得自己被注視和觸摸。 它掉落在窗台上這個事實 只是我們的，而不是它的經驗。 對它而言，這和落在其他地方並無兩樣， 不確定它已完成墜落 或者還在墜落中。 窗外是美麗的湖景， 但風景不會自我觀賞。 它存在這個世界，無色，無形， 無聲，無臭，又無痛。 湖底其實無底，湖岸其實無岸。 湖水既不覺自己濕，也不覺自己乾， 對浪花本身而言，既無單也無複數。 它們聽不見自飛濺於 無所謂小或大的石頭上的聲音。 這—切都在本無天空的天空下， 落日根本未落下， 不躲不藏地躲在一朵不由自主的雲後。 風吹皺雲朵，理由無他—— 風在吹。 —秒鐘過去，第二秒鐘過去，第三秒。 但唯獨對我們它們才是三秒鐘。 時光飛逝如傳遞緊急訊息的信差。 然而那只不過是我們的明喻。 人物是捏造的，急促是虛擬的， 訊息與人無涉。// 《一粒沙看世界》 — 辛波絲卡
