I remember when I was still a student, I often saw in newspapers female celebrities carrying cute animal-shaped wirebags, which was my initial impression of Anteprima. To celebrate the brand’s 30th anniversary, Anteprima has specially released a set of four books, one of which is titled “SMART: A Decade of Smart Empowerment.” It features interviews with the brand’s Creative Director, Izumi Ogino, and various female artists/creatives such as Takahashi Mizuki, a founding member and former curator of the Tokyo Mori Art Museum, who is now the Executive Director and Chief Curator of CHAT, as well as the renowned Italian fashion image creator Pina Gandolfi. I am honored to have been invited as one of the interviewees, and it was a delightful surprise to find that Mr. Peter Wong, whom I have always admired, was the conductor of this interview. The box set’s printing and packaging are exquisitely done, and it can now be found in all Anteprima boutiques around the world.
