私が保護犬という存在を知ったのは確か小学5年生の時。授業で飼い主に捨てられた犬が殺処分されてしまう事を知ってしまった私は、わんちゃんを助けなきゃ！ってなって。 両親を説得し、犬を飼う為に必要な物や知識をネットで調べ山梨県内で里親募集をしている犬達に会いにいきました。 その時の私は、1匹でもいいから命を救いたい！って気持ちだったな。 そして出会った我が家の長女あんず💗 まだ子犬だったあんずに家族で会いに行って、抱っこさせてもらって、それはもう可愛くて可愛くて。 そのまま連れて帰りました。 そこから数年、保護犬の存在はうっすらと知りつつも、特に何かをするわけでもなく、あんずと毎日一緒に生活をしていました。 2年経った頃かな、妹がもう一頭迎えたいって話をしてトイプードルのいちご、その2年後にヨークシャテリアのこてつをペットショップから迎えました。 その時の私や家族は、ペットショップの裏側や繁殖犬なんて言葉すら知りませんでした。 その後3年間東京の学校に通うことになり山梨をでましたが、その間に私と妹がずっとやってみたかった保護犬の預かりボランティアを開始。 （預かりボランティアとは→色々な事情で愛護センターに収容された犬を引き取り、里親さんが決まるまで自分の家でお世話をすること） これまで9頭引き取り、そのうち3頭は看取り、4頭は里親さんに譲渡、現在里親募集中が1頭、病気で里親募集を終了したけど一緒に暮らしてる子が1頭います。 個人でやっていることなのでやっぱり預かれる頭数は限られていますが、1頭でも新しい家族に繋げられて幸せそうに暮らしている姿を見るとよかったな〜って心から思います。 そして私の事をフォローしてくれている方にぜひ知っていてほしいなと思うのが、まず保護犬、保護猫の存在。 当たり前に家族の一員として動物と生活している人がいる中で、その反対では何年も一緒に過ごしてきた子を平気で捨ててしまう人もいます。 引越しを理由に置いて行ってしまったり。 中には自分が高齢になり散歩やお世話ができなくなったという人も。 全部、よく考えれば防げることだと思うんです。 人間の勝手な都合で悲しい思いをするのはいつも動物達。 そんな動物達が一頭でも減るように私は、少しずつですが発信しています。 やっぱり誰でも最初は、子犬や子猫が可愛くて懐くからって思うと思うんだけど 全くそんな事ない！！ 逆に成犬の方がいい！なんて方もいます🥰 私が譲渡してきた犬達の里親さんはみんな成犬の子を家族として迎え入れてくれました。（写真に写っている子達はみんな成犬） その子達は本当に幸せそうで。 やっと本当の家族が見つかったんだ。 ボクだけの家族なんだ〜なんて言ってそうな感じ🥰 もちろん最初は信じていいのかな？って思ってるはずなんだけど、愛情って伝わるよね、って思います。 そして中には私の発信で、保護犬のことや預かりボランティアを知ってくれた方もいるし 私が発信してたから、捨て猫を拾った時にどうしたらういいかと助けを求めてくれた方もいました。 卒論で保護犬のことを書くキッカケになったと言ってくれた方も。 そんな報告のDMが嬉しくて嬉しくて、誰かのキッカケや助けになれることがすごく嬉しいです。 本当にちょっとの発信でも、やっぱり見ててくれる人っているんだよね😌 だから、1番誰にでもできる。今のこの時代だからできること。 情報のシェア。 携帯の画面をタップするだけでできること。 少しでも多くの人が知ってくれることで助かる命が増えるかもしれません。 あとあと、犬や猫を引き取れないって人の方が多いと思うんだけど そんな人達でもできることって山ほどあります✨ 興味がある人は私に聞いてもらうでもいいし、 私が信じられなければ自分で信じられる情報を調べてみてください👍🏻 今は保護団体と名乗っていても、引き取るだけ引き取って面倒もみず、犬達がガリガリになって見つかる事などもあります。 もし寄付などする場合は自分が信じられる団体をよく見極めて寄付しましょう！ 1人でもいいから、行動できるきっかけになれたらいいな。 そしていつか保護犬、保護猫と呼ばれる子達がいなくなって、 里親を探す活動なんてしなくていい日がきますように。 辛く苦しい思いをする子達がいなくなりますように。 あ、犬猫を引き取ることが1番素晴らしい事じゃないからね。その子を幸せにできなきゃ意味ないから。
