ダンスバトルなるものも、クラブミュージック的なものも普段からノータッチ。ポールの練習も常に無音。ギリギリ聴いても懐かしいアニソンかボカロ。ノーミュージックノーライフならぬ、普段のわたしはノーミュージックエブリデイ。サブスクリプション0のわたしのスマホ。今からフロアダンスをどれだけ頑張っても付け焼き刃にもならないから、とにかく1分間ポールにいることに集中しました。10通り以上のコンビネーションを確実に美しくやることを念頭に置いて、そういう練習を日々淡々と。衣装も、普段絶対に選ばない所謂「ナイトクラブ」的な、陽の人が着るというか、わたし用語で言うとカースト上位の者だけが着用するような衣服は外しました。動画を見て選考してくださった、ということはこのキャラクターでもOKということだと認識したからです。正解なのか間違ってるのかなんて、その時点で全くわからないけど、とにかく練習の方向性を自分で決めて、未知のゴールに向けて淡々と練習することにしました。方向性が決まったことで精神的に安心しました。あとは恥をかくだけ、というか己の立ち位置を目の当たりにするだけで、やれることはやった、という達成感は少なくともあるからです。安心して恥かける😭 その時、心臓が人生史上MAXに踊り出しました。会社登記した時やサロン借りる時よりも猛スピードで鼓動してたはずです。「なんてことをやらかしてしまったんだろう」と後悔の念が一気に襲ってきました。もしもフォロワーが多いから選んでもらえたなら、それは過去の仕事の関係で、今は単なる一般人で、きっと何かの間違いなんです、ごめんなさい、だから相応しくないので辞退させてください。もっと素晴らしい方が待ってます。謎の言い訳が脳内から足のつま先までぐわんと電気みたいに流れました。ごめんなさい、間違いなんです。ごめんなさい、わたしなんかが出たらいけないんです、ごめんなさい。間違って申し込んでしまったんです。 ほんの一瞬の出来事でした。 ごめんなさい？何にわたしは謝ってるんだろう。じゃあどうする？辞退する？今辞退すればホッとするよ。5月は安泰に過ごせるし、波風立たずに今まで通り日常を過ごせるよ。どっちでもいい。選んだらいい。 そしてわたしはこのまま出場することを選びました。恥をかこうとも、何が起ころうとも、挑戦してみたい、やってみたい、そう思って申し込んだ気持ちは本物だから。自分のレベルは重々承知しているし、圧倒的に経験がないこともわかっています。でも、こういう経験の積み重ねがいつかの現実に繋がるだろうから。このまま、恥をかきにいこう。わたしが挑戦することで、誰かの心に何か、波紋を生み出すかもしれないから。 ダンス経験0、柔軟性レベル石🪨それでもスピニングポールが楽しくて大好きで、ポールと2次元がわたしの生き甲斐になりました。ダンスやクラブ業界で活躍してる方と比べたらカスみたいなものかもしれないけど、ポールが好きな気持ちは変わらない。ポールを思いっきり楽しめるように在宅の仕事を構築して、経済的にも一応自立した状況を作り続けています。何が本気なのか問われるとわからないけど、わたしなりに本気でポールと向き合っています。 奇跡みたいなことが色々起こって人前でポールで舞えたり素晴らしい経験をさせてもらうたびに、「次はこうがいい」という欲求が湧き出てきました。満足してるし充分なのに次はこれ、が出てくるのが人間らしいというか、尽きない欲が出てきました。 去年、ポールバトルのイベントをインスタで知って「こんな素敵なところに出られたら最高だろうな」とふと思ってしまいましたが、こんなレベルで出られるなんて夢のまた夢😴夢見るだけならいいじゃないか。と、フォローだけはさせてもらって、気持ちは心の奥の方にしまい込みました。 でも今年。エントリー募集の投稿を見て、「申し込むだけならたったの2000円。夢を少しだけ現実にさせてあげよう」そう思って動画を添付して決済して送信完了。それで終わり。そういうことができた自分に満点をあげられました。結果はどうなってもいいから、挑戦しようとしたことがもう素晴らしい。本当にそう思って、あとはオブリビエイト、忘れよ。（ハリポタ忘却の魔法） そしたら4月の半ばのある日。
