With Oka Kiyoshi, that gaze moves one step inward, toward the mind itself. Guided by emotion, intuition, and subtle presence, this album was created by following a simple question: What are we feeling right now? Like multivariable elements influencing one another, a single emotional state slowly begins to take shape. This is not music meant to be understood, but music that helps you notice what you are already feeling. As the process continued, we realized this ourselves. With guitarist TAKU (In-Sist) joining on guitar, and inspired by mathematician Kiyoshi Oka’s idea of “two kinds of mind,” these ten tracks were created by moving back and forth between them.
