If I remember correctly, this specific tank was replicating the sea around Zushi. The colors were so beautiful that it was hard to believe they were real. I put the turnip roots in miso soup, and stir-fried the greens with carrots, soy sauce, and sesame seeds to make a furikake seasoning for onigiri (rice balls). My grandparents, who are over 90 years old, ride their motorcycle to their garden to grow these turnips. They sent them to their child, grandchild, and great-grandchild in Yokohama. These turnips became a source of nutrition for us, helping to build our bodies.
