We transfer the minced chicken delivered by the butcher into specialized containers. We work while carefully checking for any bones, foreign objects, or unusual odors in the meat 👀✨ Next is cracking the eggs 🥚 Just endlessly cracking a mountain of eggs lol. We crack them one by one into a small bowl to check for blood or spoilage before pouring them into a larger container ✋ Then, we sauté the chicken mince. It’s not just about spreading toppings— Garlic Toast, packed with all those essential elements, was today’s menu!! “Conversion” refers to adjusting the portions for each grade level! Generally, the middle grades (3rd and 4th graders) are used as the baseline for calculation. We then multiply that baseline by a conversion rate to increase or decrease the amount! At this school, we calculated 0.85 for lower grades and 1.15 for upper grades, but most schools typically use 0.9 for lower and 1.1 for upper grades ✋ These conversion rates are often decided by nutritionists, taking into account how much each grade level actually eats! Did you figure out the answer to the quiz? 9 rounds × 4 minutes = 36 minutes is the answer!! In reality, it takes a bit longer because of the time needed to swap the baking sheets and preheat the oven. If we assume 4 minutes for baking, 2 minutes for swapping, and 1 minute for preheating, that’s 7 minutes per round. 9 rounds × 7 minutes = at least 63 minutes is necessary. Since we only have 20 baking sheets, from the 3rd round onwards, we also have to spend time transferring the bread onto the sheets. On this day, it took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to finish! Our 25-year-old “School Lunch Boy” actually has experience working part-time at a hamburger steak restaurant! It’s amazing how those experiences come in handy in unexpected ways! Lately, he’s been into bread making, so maybe we should send him to help out at the schools that make pizza and chocolate bread lol. Regarding the number of dishes, every kitchen has its own circumstances, and this is a site where making anything more is quite difficult. While rising food prices are a factor, here it’s physically challenging because we don’t have enough large revolving cauldrons. We have 5 cauldrons in total: ① Preparing the sauce, ② & ③ Cooking rice (two rounds), ④ & ⑤ Making dashi and then miso soup. Truly amazing!2025/12/23に公開242,609 回視聴 0.32%63638とある給食の1コマ 学校給食で出るサラダって 茹で野菜なの知ってた? コーンの甘みが嬉しい☺️ コーンサラダが今日の献立だっ!!🌽🥗✨ こちらの学校は火の通りにくい野菜から茹でていき、最後に中心温度を確認する茹で方ですね! 自治体によっては1種類ずつ茹でる決まりがあるところもあります✋ どちらのやり方もメリットデメリットはありますが、このやり方のメリットは茹でながら野菜が混ざるので偏りがない事ですね! デメリットは野菜ごとの火の通りを計算しながら茹でる技術や経験値が必要です✨ 下手すると人参は固いけどキャベツはクタクタなんて茹で加減になる可能性もあります その辺りは、お湯の量と茹でる野菜の量と分数を記録しておいて経験値を積み上げる事で失敗しないようにしているんですよ!👍 コーンの甘みが茹でた野菜と合いますね!! ナポリタンとの組み合わせが嬉しい☺️ 今日も美味しく出来ました♬ A scene from a certain school lunch. The sweetness of the corn is a delight ☺️ Corn Salad was today’s menu! 🌽🥗✨ At this school, they boil the vegetables starting with those that take longer to cook, and finally check the core temperature. Some municipalities have a rule to boil each type of vegetable separately ✋ Both methods have pros and cons, but the advantage of this method is that the vegetables mix while boiling, so there is no unevenness in the mix. The disadvantage is that it requires skill and experience to calculate the cooking time for each vegetable while boiling them together ✨ If done poorly, you could end up with hard carrots and soggy cabbage. To avoid such failures, we record the amount of water, the amount of vegetables, and the time in minutes to build up experience! 👍 The sweetness of the corn goes well with the boiled vegetables!! With the high prices, we managed to get beef served! As the school lunch chef, we have no choice but to make it delicious using these ingredients! We used caramelized onions. Beef gets tough if it's overcooked, so we fry it first and add it at the end, which is an extra step✋ By the way, the curry roux is also homemade!
