The New Musical "Poupelle of Chimney Town" is based on the best-selling Japanese picture book of the same name, written by Akihiro Nishino.

The story was made into an animated feature film, “Poupelle Of Chimney Town”, and was released in Japan in December 2020; The film won the Japanese Academy Award and was also nominated by many international film festivals, including the 2021 Annecy international Animation Film Festival and Fantasia International Film Festivals.

Our latest adaptation of the story, “Poupelle of Chimney Town, the Musical“ opened in Tokyo in November 2021.
This production was directed by Akihiro Nishino and watched by an audience of 4,000 people in the theatre and also by 10,000 people via online streaming.

We intend to bring it to New York City for an Off-Broadway run!
