Plant seeds, make clothes! 服づくりの過程を一緒に楽しむ1年間のプロジェクト A one-year project to enjoy the process of making clothes @fuku_tane #fukunotane #服のたね __________ . 2021年5月から始めた「服のたね」プロジェクト。 今年で４回目の参加中。今回はロングTシャツになります！ これまで収穫したオーガニックコットンはこれらになって戻ってきました。 2021年 > キャンバススニーカー 2022年 > Tシャツ 2023年 > スエットパンツ 2024年に蒔いた種は収穫終了！ 今までの中で一番収穫できました。 動画でDay 0 (2024年5月）からDay 270 (2025年2月)までをご紹介。動画にするとあっという間ですが、最初に始めたのが5月なので、ここまで来るのに約８ヶ月。 自分が何気なく使っている製品たちの過程を知ることの大事さを今回のプロジェクトを通して毎回思います。なかなか難しいこともありましが、とても楽しいのと同時に、今製品として売られているものたち・・・手間も時間もかかるのに、その値段で本当にいいの？ 服のたねプロジェクトに参加してみませんか？ We have been involved in the Fuku no Tane (Plant Seeds, Make Clothes Project) since 2021. This year is our 4th year and it will be returned as a long T-shirt! The organic cotton harvested so far has returned as the following: 2021 > Canvas sneakers 2022 > T-shirts 2023 > Sweat pants The seeds that were planted in 2024 and have been harvested - this is the best harvest we have ever had! Here is a video showing Day 0 (May 2024) through Day 270 (February 2025). It seems like a short time in the video, but it took 8 months from planting to harvest. The project continues to be very eye opening and really gets me thinking how important it is to know the process of the products we use daily. One thing is for sure, after experiencing this project, it's hard to believe some of the price of the clothes that uses "organic cottons" that are being sold. It takes a lot of time and effort, and A LOT of seeds which makes you wonder... Are those really organic cotton? Are people in the supply chain getting paid fairly? Harvesting organic cotton is not easy - you have to be patient and after 4 years, I can still harvest only a handful. How much more do I need to be able to make one whole T-shirt?
