The subject matter is signboard architecture in the Kanto region, which was built from the Taisho period to the early Showa period. It has been carefully researched, and I have also drawn a cut of the inside, so I would like to introduce it to you as well. From the standpoint of an artist who creates woodblock prints in cooperation with publishers, I considered the impact of this work on contemporary creations.
