Today is Mother’s Day in Taiwan, and it also the first anniversary of Sho-Er‘s death. It’s been a while since we updated photos, but it doesn’t mean we’ve stopped updating. We’ve just been thinking about ways to make Wan-Ji less sad after Sho-Er’s passing and to keep Sho-Er’s smile alive. We’ve opened a new laundry shop in Taipei, giving Wan-Ji more opportunities to go out and about in Taipei, train new employees, and turned Wan-Ji and Sho-Er into cute illustrations. Perhaps Sho-Er grandma has passed away, but we’re trying to keep Sho-Er alive in our hearts through these means. Grandma Sho-Er's funeral farewell ceremony concluded successfully yesterday. Although she has permanently departed from our world, we believe her loveliness and smile will remain in our hearts. During this period, we have received many messages of concern and consolation. There have been numerous heartfelt words and posts from various sectors. Many friends have come from different places to pay their respects to Grandma Sho-Er's spirit and keep Grandpa Wan-Ji company. We are deeply grateful. However, during the sorrowful mourning period, it has been challenging to respond to every expression of concern and there may have been lapses in hospitality. We would like to offer our sincerest apologies to every friend who cared about Grandma Sho-Er. We express our deepest gratitude on behalf of the entire family to everyone who accompanied Grandma Sho-Er on her final journey and to each floral arrangement. Though the grief is indescribable, we believe Grandma Sho-Er would be very happy to see how much she is loved by everyone. Happy birthday! Sho-er is one of the happiest people in the world because she has been celebrating Chinese Valentine's Day since she was a child. Her birthday is the same day as Valentine's Day! But in fact, I have received a lot of attention in the past six months, saying why there are so many fewer photos, and Sho-er seems to have lost a lot of weight. Looking back at the photos, I find that it has only been two years since her 84th birthday and it has become very different. Sho-er lost her appetite and physical strength because of her fracture.
