2023 has become one of the most wonderful years of my life. For the first time, I went to Japan with my wife Ivana, and then we spent a few months in Canada. After returning to Croatia, we were blessed with great work and people on Hvar Island, one of the most beautiful islands in Europe. Moreover, I had the best wedding in Šibenik with my beloved wife and family. After the summer passed, time flew by in an instant, and I enjoyed a peaceful Christmas and New Year's Eve. I pray that the coming year will be another fantastic one. 今回クロアチアで盛大かつ幸せな結婚式を挙げられたのは紛れもなくお越し頂いた全員のおかげだと思っています。4大陸8ヶ国から計144人の方々にクロアチアはシベニクまで来ていただきました。皆さんのシベニクまでの移動から結婚式に見合った服装の準備等、全ての労力に感謝するばかりです。特に僕から招待を受けた方々はクロアチア国外に住まれてる方がほとんどだったにも関わらず遥々クロアチアまで来てくれた事に本当に大きな感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。当初は僕の家族を含め全員が心地よく1日を過ごせるか心配した時もありましたが、全員が無事にそして様々な角度で僕たちの結婚式とその1日を楽しんでもらえたようで本当に安心しました。当然ですが僕自身も初めての結婚式で且つそれがクロアチアの伝統的なスタイルであった事と、独特な1日の流れがあったため来ていただいた方々1人1人とゆっくり話す時間がほとんど無かったのは少し心残りですが、かけがえのない1日を皆さんと同じ空間で一緒に共有できた事は大変嬉しくそして誇りに思います。この結婚式を通して自分以外の幸せを一緒に嬉しく思える人がどれだけ素晴らしい人なのかという事を再確認する事もできました。今後もし今回来ていただいた方の中で幸せなイベントがあれば全力で参加させて下さい。 I believe that the wedding we had in Croatia this time was undoubtedly made by everyone who attended. A total of 144 people from 8 countries on 4 continents came to Šibenik, Croatia. I am incredibly grateful for all the effort that everyone put into our wedding, such as traveling to Šibenik and preparing beautiful outfits for the occasion. In particular, I am filled with immense gratitude toward those who accepted my invitation, even though most of them live outside of Croatia and had to travel a great distance to be here. At first, I had concerns about whether everyone, including my family, would have a comfortable time throughout the day. However, I was truly relieved to see that everyone enjoyed our wedding day together. Needless to say, it was my first wedding, and it followed the traditional Croatian style with its unique flow. I regret that I didn’t have much time to talk individually with each of the guests. Nevertheless, I am extremely happy and proud that we could all share this unforgettable day together. Through this wedding, I was reminded once again that the people who can naturally cherish someone’s happiness are incredibly beautiful people. I met Ryoya for the first time when we were around 12 years old and we spent a lot of time together in a football club during middle school and high school days. After that, he left from Japan to study abroad which would make his life enrich and that fact inspired me a lot at various stages of my life. I’m thankful for his influence on me which made me end up having my wedding in Croatia, so I chose him as my Best Man. Sixteen years after our initial meeting, he made the long journey from Taiwan to Croatia for the wedding. The wedding day itself was scorching hot but as my best man, he tirelessly kept wiping away my sweat without a single complaint. On that day, he kept showing his great personality and characteristic with over a hundred people who he had never met before and everyone who witnessed his presence enjoyed the ceremony and party to the fullest. Oh yes, I have to mention this before I forget that he was named 'Roko' by people over there due to his great adaptation to Dalmatian vibes. Roko was dancing and moving around crazily with alcohol in the party hall among the 150 guests. The night was unforgettable and will remain in everyone’s heart forever. Once again, thank you so much Ryoya (Roko). *Due to the order by the camera man, my second button was closed almost entire time. クロアチアでの結婚式をこの男抜きにして語る事は不可能だろう。Ryoyaとの出会いは12歳頃で中学と高校ではサッカー部で青春時代を過ごしました。以降は彼が日本を出ていく姿に魅せられ僕のライフステージの時々で刺激を与えてくれました。そんな彼の影響もあり僕は日本を出てその結果クロアチアで結婚式を挙げることになり、僕は彼をBest Manとして選びました。 16年前に出会った彼が台湾から遥々クロアチアまで駆けつけ式当日は死ぬほど熱い日でしたが、Best Manとして僕の滴る汗を文句1つ言わずに拭き続けてくれました。そして彼は持ち前のパーソナリティを発揮して初めて合う100人以上の人達と存分に式やパーティを楽しみ、そんな彼の姿を見た人達は皆幸せな気持ちになりました。パーティでは新しいクロアチアの名前を授かりRokoとして酒を浴び踊り狂った姿は決して150人の記憶から消える事はないだろう。改めてBest Manとしての役目を全うしてくれてありがとう。 ※ カメラマンの指示のおかげでずっと第二ボタン閉まったままやったわ。 #croatia #wedding #marriage #クロアチア #結婚式 #国際カップル #国際結婚 #国際夫婦

※日本語は下へ On August 26, 2023, we celebrated our wedding at St. Jacob's Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Šibenik, Croatia. It was a scorching summer day, with the blazing sun and an abundance of love all around. I'll cherish the day forever, as we were blessed by the presence of approximately 150 guests, right by the Adriatic Sea which is one the most beautiful backdrop in the world. It truly was an unforgettable day. Five years ago, when I left Japan with mixed feelings of excitement and uncertainty, I couldn't have imagined experiencing a day like this. Throughout the journey leading up to this moment, I encountered unique experiences and occasionally felt unwarranted solitude, but I am genuinely grateful to my family and the people around me who supported me at every step. When I look back at the moment I met Ivana, I am filled with wonder and happiness at the miracle of it all. And at the same time, there are still moments today when I am deeply moved by the fact that she is by my side every day. My wife, Ivana, who evokes these emotions and the gratitude I feel towards God for making everything up to this point fill my heart.
