  • possibly one of my favorite shops in all of Japan 文月 @fuzuki.kanazawa 🪑 each piece and detail in the shop feels so considered and carefully selected 💭 i think what really makes the experience so special is the setting itself—a stretch of street that feels almost mundane at first glance, lined with everyday storefronts and signs of local life (see last two videos) Always missing the charming little city of Kanazawa!

  • I found vintage film negatives at a market in Kyoto — With my own film camera slung over my shoulder, it weirdly felt like one photographer passing something on to another 💭 There’s something about being deep in a photo work trip, shooting every day, and being openly curious about small discoveries like this. (ah it’s the best!) I wondered how many hands these negatives have passed through before landing in mine. So, I scanned them at my go-to lab in Tokyo and this is what I discovered. I’ve always been drawn to found photography, old postcards or letters.
