I’m excited making this post. Pampàna contains our entire being. I wanted to make this fine wine to be able to make Salento known to the whole world. Salento is a unique land, a magical place that welcomed our ancestors 4 centuries ago, and I decided to pay homage to Salento by creating this unique bottle. Pampàna Super Salento, a blend of Negroamaro - Cabernet and Merlot. Pampàna is our nickname, in Coperto dialect it means grape leaf. All the Cordellas in the world have this nickname, because, first in Spain (where we come from) and then in Italy (from Veneto, to Tuscany, passing through Abruzzo) finally in Salento the Cordellas have always made wine. A little early due to the great drought of this season, today we begin our Malvasia Nera harvest. With Malvasia Nera we produce the pure Malvasia of @amauri_eleven , and we use this wonderful thousand-year-old vine for the blend of: @johnterry.26 @jankul18 @cafu2 and @juliocesar , in addition to our labels of Yago, Oscar, Tanio and il Castellano Malvasia. Like every year we wait for our grapes to be very ripe, we are not interested in quantity, but only in an extremely high quality product. In the next few days we will continue to harvest the Negroamaro, the Susumaniello, the Cabernet, the Merlot and we will finish the Primitivo harvest. The Wine Of The Champions is always evolving.
