I will be releasing both the finished piece and an embroidery kit so you can recreate this scene with your own hands. Rather than providing a strictly fixed pattern, I plan to include a loose layout and guidance for the details. The rest is up to you — layering threads, choosing stitches, and enjoying the process of letting your creativity lead the way. I hope this will be a project where you can experience the quiet joy of stitching freely and intuitively. The spring relaunch of Stitch Ideés magazine @stitchidees_nihonvogue by VOGUE Japan has been published—and it features an article about my artwork! I’m deeply grateful for their enthusiasm and the beautiful results. The team even visited my studio for an intimate interview and photoshoot. As many of you know, the foundation of my creations is my Christian faith and the Bible. Much of the interview centered around these topics. Although most of that content didn’t make it into the final article (which is understandable given the cultural context in Japan), I’m truly thankful they took the time to listen.
