Founded in 1924, this renowned store has been beloved for over 100 years, located in Tsukiji, Japan’s most famous wholesale market. This time, we had the rare opportunity to film inside the production area, which is usually not open to the public. We captured the skilled craftsmen working in perfect harmony, cooking each tamagoyaki with great care. While grilling, they insert chopsticks into the omelet to judge the doneness by the feel in their hands and through visual inspection. Next to the production area, the storefront offers a variety of tamagoyaki flavors such as ""Plum, Shirasu (whitebait), Umaki (eel), and Bacon Cheese,"" in addition to the classic dashi-maki (rolled omelet with soup stock). Each tamagoyaki is visually appealing and features a fluffy texture with a refined, not-too-sweet flavor. The Tsukiji main store opens at 6 a.m., and their famous ""Tamagoyaki Sandwich"" and ""Tamagoyaki Skewer Set"" are especially popular for takeout or as souvenirs.
