Daniel Olsen Chen is a world renowned maker of fine violins and bows.

Among his many honors and awards he is a partner in Hollywood Star winning musical group “The BergenMusic”, and is a diploma holder from Mittenwald International Violin Making Competition. Daniel was featured on Chinese National TV series “Outstanding Talents” in 2012, a 40 minute documentary entitled “Danny’s Violin Life” presented him as the highest of achievers in the violin field.

Writing is among Daniel’s passions and he was awarded “Writer of the Year 2002” in Taiwan for his Mandarin language book “Christian’s Violin”. He is a Norwegian citizen now residing in Japan, technically. Daniel is a citizen of the world which he explores continually sharing his vast knowledge of violin making and travel adventures via his YouTube channel.
